M-MSU Coverage Question

Submitted by michgoblue on

Quick question to those more in the know than I am.  From the prior threads, it appears that CBSSports.com will have a live stream of the game tomorrow at 2.  Here's the question:  I will be out all day tomorrow.  Is the stream only available live, or does CBS Sports generally keep it available for the rest of the day?  If the latter, I can go on my football-season media blackout and watch the game when I return.  If it is only available live, are there any other options?

Thanks for any info.

Note: I know that there have been a few threads discussing the coverage of this game, but none on the main page, so replying there would likely not result in an answer.

I'm not sure.  From a quick glance, and I mean really quick I'm on my way out the door, I didn't see any archived games.  I'm sure our friends at MGoVideo/Boyz n da Pahokee will be able to get a torrent/youtube of the game up.  There are ways to capture and record streaming video in a way similar to DVR, but that is wayyyy above my pay grade/internet knowledge.

You don't need to leave the house; just stream it on CBS.com.  They have very high-quality internet broadcasts, assuming your computer isn't super slow.

[UPDATE:  It looks like they will also be streaming it on the CBS iPhone app for those of you that apply.  The app is still free, I think.]

I live within the broadcast area but do not have cable. Will I still be able to watch the stream, or is that only for folks outside the coverage map?
