I'm not a huge fan of televised basketball so I could be wrong, but if you are refering to tournament OSU last year, that one was at least a swish... I think.  This one was a bank.  And I refuse to watch replays so I'm not sure, but appeared to be shot-putted.  It was just the flukiest piece of white-freshman bullshit I have ever seen.

Fuck.

Make your free throws/ shots inside 10 feet in the last 5 minutes!

Also not to pick on him but why is Stu playing on the ball D, he "switched" with Hardaway but then double teamed. Where was a more athletic Morris or a better defender Novak in this spot? Heck even someone off the bench...

I know easy to second guess but they should have won the stinking game!

What the fuck? I hate this, I hate Wisconsin. I don't want to watch a single game until next time we play. What if we only beat Minni, do we even have a shot anymore?

Sports God, are you there, it's me smwilliams?

I seem to have blood running from my eyes and ears and nose.

I believe it's due to your newfound sheer hatred for Michigan athletics.

Please stop.

Sports God only plays a role in so many of our recent failures.

Michigan has a horribly run AD that can't get out of its own way. That is the main reason for our frustrations over the last 10 fucking years.

Incompetent AND unlucky is just a disasterous combination.

No one EXPECTS to lose a game in that fashion.

Maybe that's the downfall of Michigan athletics. People like you who don't expect much and shrug your shoulders when you don't get it. The programs with fanatical bases sure as hell are having a lot more success than Michigan right now, that's for sure.

I was upset and I still kind of am, but I don't let it ruin my night or destroy my TV or come on the board and act like there is no chance to get into the tournament at this point. Oh, and if we didn't have a fanatical base, RR wouldn't have been poked and prodded from the first day that he was here. Not that I think that our reaction to this game has any bearing on the season whatsoever.

You seriously have to question Morris's clutch gene after this one. This guy can't MAKE a free throw in crunch time. Not just tonight. This happened to him at the end of the Indiana and Iowa games as well.

Do you actually have numbers to back that up?  Morris was 4-6 against Iowa (though he did clang 2 in the OT, but also hit 4 straight near the end of the game), and has been decent all year.  The kid played his heart out against Wiscy and the probable B1G POY and held him to sub-.500 shooting.  He missed some free throws, but so did everyone else.  I think blaming Morris, or anyone in particular, for this loss is myopic - you win as a team and you lose as a team, no matter how cliche that might sound.

Also, stopped by RCMB for a sec and they were just as self-conciously happy about UM's win as you would expect.  Again, if the Little Brother shoes fit...

Is it any better when our teams are good? I've lived through a couple decent football teams- that I don't remember. And 1 good basketball team. How does it feel to be a Top 10 team? It feels like I might never know.....

That was bad. REALLY lucky shot. Brought back memories of Evan Turner's shot in the BTT. I don't know if it was bad defensivestrategy employed by the coaches or a lapse in judgement by the players, it doesn't really matter though. We had around 8 missed free throws? Can't do that in a close game, especially when we got to the line so much more often than they did.

I don't think the NCAA Tournament is out of reach, we have to win out though. Probably make a run or 2+ games in the BTT. Would an NIT berth be that bad? Two more home games in a tournament that we could probably win or at least make a deep run. It would be more practices and game experience for our extremely young team. Just trying to look at the bright side if things don't go our way. If we sweep msu, I'm happy because we haven't done that in a while. Hell, we could see them in the BTT and beat them 3 times. Sparty, I'll see you at Crisler, and I'll have my broom.

These over-the-top reactions are reserved for GOOD basketball teams (like those who can beat Top 25 teams).  This team is improving, but is not ready for the NCAA Tournament.  Yet.

9 offensive rebounds, 8 second-chance points, 18 points off Michigan turnovers.  There is why Wisconsin even had a chance.  Oh, and a bad free throw-shooting team continuing that trend.

NIT teams allow those things to happen in a must-win game.

All your fucking facts don't change the fact that we were up 2 with 5 seconds to go against the #12 team in the country w/ tourney hopes on the line and they hit a fucking prayer fluke bank.

Those are facts.  If this doesn't bother you please stop being a Michigan fan.

EDIT: Originally a reply to your comment where you criticized us for yelling at you for using "fucking facts."
