Sorry if this has been talked about recently. Besides, The Daily, what are other must have IPad apps? Tia

Angry Birds and Flight Control were my favorites for a long time... Until I stumbled onto P-v-Z. Four days later I had beaten it twice and was working on a third play through.

Now I'm addicted to tower defense games. My current favorites are...

Geodefense

Geodefense Swarm

Field Runners

Tower Madness

The Creeps

I'd also be lost without my Kindle apps, my unit conversion app (don't recall which one exactly), my SF Shot Timer... I know I'm fogetting several... Pandora...

This is a game that I discovered last week and am totally hooked. You play it like Scrabble, asynchronously, either with people whom you know or (more likely) with complete strangers. Players make moves as time permits, so a game could take hours or even days. This could get boring if you only played one game at a time, but you are allowed to play up to 20 simultaneous games, so you almost always have active games that are waiting for yor next move.

The interface is very professional and it has been pretty stable so far.

WWF (got to love that acronym) is available for iPad/iPhone and I think it has just been released for Android. AFAIK, there is not a web browser version. I am not sure if this is an intentional omission or if they just haven't gotten there yet (more likely the latter, IMO).

This has replaced Crosswords as main treadmill activity (at least, for now).

Great way to integrate content (RSS feeds, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) in one elegant, magazine-like interface.

Demo video here  <sigh> repeated embed fail.   Used to work before the debacle.

LIFE app is pretty BA. Shows you the news and everything in between with awesome pictures.

Colorsplash is an awesome way to waste all your time making your pictures black and white and choosing which areas of the picture you'd like to stay in color.

iScreen is an app to be used in conjunction with your laptop. It allows you to use your iPad as a second monitor for your computer. Considering I have a 13" macbook, I find it very useful to have a second screen for my school work. I paid $5 for this.

Twitter was made for the iPad. And vice versa. It is awesome.
