I absolutely love those guys shirtless and painted maize and blue. I did that almost every game in 2008 with a friend of mine. Not as much painting in 2009, we were more jaded, but we still went to all the games. Anyways, when we were at some random 2009 game, I thought to myself, "What Michigan needs right now is more hooligans." Not drunken idiots, but soccer-style hooligans--you know, guys who look like they're looking for an excuse to knock you out for a few hours.
These intrepid young men have filled the void. I think Crisler sounds a little louder these days in my subjective TV judgement. Besides, isn't being shirtless in public the point of college anyways? :-)

The guys who sit just behind the scorer's table on the Opponent end in Camo do a pretty good job of filling the void as well, they are pretty hilarious out there. Unfortunately, they wear the US Woodland Camo. When was the last time that was actually used? Get some Desert Camo!
