OT: Woodson Vs. Woodley: Who do ya got??

Submitted by Dilla Dude on

Two of Michigan's finest are going head-to-head in Superbowl XLV on February 6, 2011. Question is, who do ya got??

Or...

Dead on.  The only thing left would be the hallowed and holy ground of Canton OH, a fitting end to the journey at some future point.

I was at the '98 Rose Bowl (only bowl game I've ever been to).  We were really on our heels, down 7-0, about to go down 14-0, and the WSU fans were chanting "overrated."  When Woodson turned the tide with that spectacular pick in the end zone, the entire Michigan section stood up and chanted right back, "HEEEEEIS-MAN!  HEEEEEIS-MAN!"

One of the most beautiful moments of my life.

This past 4th of july. I was out on Higgins Lake with a couple buddies and my brother. My Brother and I always take a football to the lake for obvious reasons. Basically the story was LaMarr came up behind me and tried to take the ball, then tried to get me to trade the ball to him for a beer. I refused and he laughed and handed me the beer. When he handed me the beer and I saw the wolverine tatoo on his arm and I finally realized who he was. He was really cool tho. We talked to him about RR and Antonio Brown for a couple min.

As much as I love Woodley and the Steelers I really want to see Woodson win this one. Both are in my top five favorite Wolverines ever I give the slight edge to Woodson because he doesn't have one.

Plus I have a buddy on Green Bay and would like to see him with a ring too.

Woodley gets a scoop and score, the game is tied 7-7 indefinitely and for the first time in history neither team wins. That would be my preferable outcome since I dislike both teams.

The only thing I like better than the Steelers is Michigan. So as much as I like Woodson I want the Steelers to win and if they come out like tonight in the first half - all business - the they will win.

Woodson, but I think Woodley gets it.  The steelers will shut down aarons party.  But Woodson gets a pick and Woodley gets the game clinching sack just like he did in his last super bowl game.

I predict that Woodley and Woodson will realize that if they teamed up, they could both win the superbowl.

Final Score

Woodleyson-1 million

Steelers/Packers-0

As most others have said, Woodson. Woodley is a beast, and I love him, but I would be thrilled if Woodson could finally get his ring.

I'm really hoping he gets a pick and gives the shoulder shimmy-shake. Pleeeeeease let me see the shoulder shimmy-shake just one more time.

Being a CMU alum, I find it hard to pick against Antonio Brown and the Steelers, but being that my love for Brown is second to the great Charles Woodson, I will be cheering for the Packers. Also, Green Bay has three former CMU players on their roster. Go Pack!

If Brett Favre still played, it would be like the battle of the Quarterback pedophiles.  After the game they'd have Chris Hansen present the award to the winning QB.

Fortunately, the Packers have Rodgers and I'm a huge Packers fan.  So I got Woodson.  Go Pack!

Well, I am a lifelong Steeler fan, but I cant think of a better reason to lose a Super Bowl than seeing Charles Woodson get his ring

Win/Win as I see it for the Hoke/Mattison 2011 Campaign

C woodson to me is awesome and Woodley is too

But my hatred for the Packers runs so deep, So I am rooting for the Steelers

This question just isn't fair.  If i had to choose, I'd go with Woodson.  He deserves a ring at some point.  Woodley still has a long career ahead of him and has already participated in super bowls.

Rooting for Woodson.  Not so much the Packers, but unfortunately, they are the team I have to root for as an ancillary to Woodson finally winning a Super Bowl ring.
