OT: "The Happy Football Life of Will Hill (former UF safety and 2008 U-M Recruit)."
Anyone else see this? Basically, his extremely vulgar yet public twitter, was turned into a diary about his time at Florida. He was the #1 safety according to scout in 2008 and recently declared for the NFL draft.

Yes, I saw this earlier. Exhibit A as to why (some/all) coaches don't like the use of twitter.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:32 PM ^
Will Hill's proper swerve is in overdrive. #sour.
January 19th, 2011 at 8:57 PM ^
airport bathrooms are sour
January 19th, 2011 at 9:00 PM ^
That is sour!!! For real
January 19th, 2011 at 9:02 PM ^
Im sure his parents are proud of him /s.

Chick trying to swallow my kids for fathers day.
He is classy
January 19th, 2011 at 9:09 PM ^
Alot of people didn't like the kind of recriuts RR brought in and went after.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:11 PM ^
What?
How does Will Hill have anything do with that?
By all accounts, the team (or at least the vast majority of it) are all great kids.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
RR went after Hill hard and we almost had him. RR always went after one or two bad apples a year, remember Justin Feagin was caught selling coke? Demar Dorsey was a criminal, Antonio Kinard, Cornelious Jones, and Adrian Witty couldn't qualify. Justin Turner had a messed up attitude. While at WV RR recruited Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, and Noel Devine. I believe that played a big part in why people didn't like RR at Michigan we hold are athletes to a higher standard and do not go after those type of athletes no matter how great they're.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
the fuck lion (Slocum) so get over it...it happens. .. Get over yourself.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
Wtf does getting over myself have to do with it? Case after case he tried bringing these types of kids into our program and it didn't work. Any real Michigan fan prides themselve on being the best without cheating and without those types of kids. I suggested you go up to MSU and hang out with the T.J Duckets and the Plaxico Burress of the world if you like these types of athletes oh and maybe you can smoke a J with Jeff Smoker or better yeat crack with Rogers
January 19th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
You named 2 kids who had questionable character, how is that case after case? None of what you have described is cheating. The one kid who did something wrong while at Michigan was promptly kicked off the team. Sounds like you are overreacting.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of osu fans who don't care about morales just winning and losing.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
I think you just had a Freudian slip. Morales as in Evo Morales is the president of Bolivia.
Boom. MGoRoasted.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:23 PM ^
What about George Morales
January 19th, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
Learn how to spell. For someone who talks about class, you sure do like to assume stuff about other people, and judge their values without knowing anything about them. You're also doing a poor job of trying to prove your "point" (if you can even call it that).
January 19th, 2011 at 9:54 PM ^
You sound like a nerd I'm typing on my phone sorry I'm not spell checking it for you.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:56 PM ^
Name calling isn't very classy or mature. I don't know about you, but we Michigan fans try to be classy, mature, and respectful of opposing viewpoints.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:58 PM ^
Watch what you say about nerds...
January 20th, 2011 at 12:12 AM ^
Why should OSU fans care about Morales? He's our long snapper, not theirs.

Since when was Duckett a bad kid?
True story: Duckett threatened to engage me in fisticuffs* at a party in East Lansing when I was an undergrad. It was the night of the A-Train Northwestern fumble, and I was pretty drunk and talked shit about how MSU was still 1-3 in the Big Ten that year. I thought TJ was out of earshot, but he was not. I don't think he ever really intended to kick my ass though, or he, ya know, would have.
*Me: Too bad you're still 1-3 in the Big Ten.
Duckett: [Reaches down from stairs, taps me on head] Yeah, I guess we are, aren't we homey?
Me: .... yep.
Duckett: I'm gonna be waiting for you outside, homey.
Me: Uh, I think I'm gonna just stay here for a while.
Duckett: I'll be waiting all night.
Me: [Irritates the shit out of my friends by re-telling my brush with Death by TJ about 18 times in my drunken state. In retrospect, despite the obviously razor-like nature of my remarks, it's fairly obvious that Duckett forgot about the incident about 8 seconds after it happened.]
Yes, TJ really overused the term 'homey.' This leads me to believe he was not terribly gangsta.
January 20th, 2011 at 2:30 PM ^
and I am a real Michigan fan.....
But why bother explaining the post - since you did not get it. "These type of kids" - what other kids were brought in? Perhaps you do not like Denard because of his dreds....
January 20th, 2011 at 4:58 PM ^
Why even bring Denard up? Who ever mentioned him?
January 19th, 2011 at 9:28 PM ^
You're acting like this is abnormal for high school kids. Let me see how many of these I can tackle
Feagin was kicked off the team when he did something wrong. Kicked off. Was RR supposed to know he would start peddling drugs?
Demar was acquitted. He made a dumb mistake. Do kids still do that? Should we not give them second chances?
Making fun of a kids academic status? Really? You're right, intelligence can be linked to character 100% of the time.
You mean a high school kid had an attitude problem? Really? If we got rid of all high school kids with attitude problems Florida, USC, Texas, etc...their programs would not exist. They're a product of their environment.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
Idk who you think we are but do not ever compare Michigan and the kind of athletes we have had come through are program with Fla, USC, and Texas thats what seperates us from everyone else.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
There is no such thing as Michigan Exceptionalism. We never were different than they were/are.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
we should stop going after kids because you don't like their attitude... or because they've done something stupid in their past, that leaves us with an annual signing class of two.
Nevermind the fact that the coaches actually talk to these kids on a regular basis, they can't acess the their character as well as some douchebag who just happens to have an "Inside the Fort" account.
And obviously anybody who struggled in high school is a moron and has a bad character. OMG he only has a GPA of 3.0, there is no way he's Michigan material, even if he does go to prep school or JC and turn things around, he's doomed to a plebean life.
January 20th, 2011 at 4:28 AM ^
holy fuck....
January 19th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
Not qualifying academically is not the same as being a bad apple. Every coach and every school targets guys who may be borderline, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. If I recall, no one (not even his HS coach) was aware of Feagin's past until after it happened. So, Feagin and Dorsey were two questionable character prospects RR got while at Michigan. I am quite sure that every coach has had similar results or worse. Carr went after bad apples as well, so I don't get the whole "Michigan we hold athletes to higher standards" in the way that you are using it. It looks to me like you just want to find fault with RR.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:31 PM ^
I'm sorry, what crime was Demar Dorsey convicted of? You sound like Drew Sharp.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
What murder was OJ convicted of? Does that make him innocent?
January 19th, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
Dude, just give it a rest unless you feel like getting negged to hell.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:51 PM ^
Oh no I had points taken away lol what is this middle school you cant have a discussion without reporting someone lol
January 19th, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
Is that worse than a winter vacation in Bolivia?
January 19th, 2011 at 10:41 PM ^
Demar Dorsey said he wanted a fresh start, he admitted what he'd done even though he was aquitted (when has O.J. ever done that?) he said it was a stupid mistake and that he wanted to move on.
A good indication of someone's heart is both their words and actions; these two went on completely different paths (from entirely different crimes)
- Dorsey admitted he'd been stupid and then put forth a valiant effort to qualify for UM
- O.J. stole some stuff from a hotel
Also, you're the very definition of asshole for comparing a 16 year old kid committing burglary to a 30-somthing year old man murdering his wife and her supposed lover in cold blood.
January 20th, 2011 at 7:43 AM ^
I'm not quite sure that his effort to qualify was as valiant as we first believed, else he would have qualified at Louisville (or at UM.) I think some fairly shady tutoring/'alternative classroom' methods were engaged.
Not saying he's a bad person, but I don't think he's necessarily a martyred saint.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
well before RR even took over. Did RR have guys stalking girls going on to their porches and letting their junk hang out through the window? Did he have players shooting their guns off into the air on campus. Did he recruit BooBoo? Couldn't qualify can you say Marques Slocum. Flunked out can you say Kurt Wermers and Slocum after he finally got in? Messed up attitude can you say Dann O'Neill? We won't even talk about Kelly Baraka. Two most recent drunk drivings, Grady and Stonum, both LC recruits. Check your facts before spouting off.
Feagin actually never sold Coke. He used it as a ruse to basically steal $600.
January 19th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
Maybe I was wrong about Hill but Feagin was caught selling coke in High School and so those 3 guys in 100 years is all you can name?
January 19th, 2011 at 9:54 PM ^
Caught by whom (serious question)? I thought I remember his HS coach not even knowing about it.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:14 PM ^
Brian Griese was arrested as for throwing a trashcan through the front window of a bar and there were a lot of other bad apples under Carr. The only thing with RR was that he took more recruits that might not make it through admissions than Carr but in terms of criminals their were a lot more under Carr.
January 19th, 2011 at 11:04 PM ^
If he want's to compare RR to the coaches at other schools, consider this;
- In four years as Michigan State's head coach Dantonio has had nineteen players arrested
- In nine years as Ohio State's head coach Tressel has had thirty-five+ players arrested
- In five years as Florida's head coach Meyer had thirty players arrested
- In three years as Michigan's head coach Rodriguez had two players arrested
Something tells me he's talking out of his @$$
January 19th, 2011 at 10:37 PM ^
this isn't bleacher report, you can't spew random crap and try to play it off as fact, no one here is dumb enough to fall for that
January 19th, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
Do we really need to start listing all the Carr players who found themselves on the wrong side of the law? Does the Kmart crew ring a bell? How about Larry Harrison? Will Peterson? Fact: when you have a team full of 18-22 year olds, there's gonna be some boneheads in there.
January 19th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
Boom, You Just Got Facted

Florida long before RR took over.
EDIT: someone else already said it.
January 20th, 2011 at 12:03 AM ^
Riiiiiight. And none of Lloyd's recruits ever got into any trouble ever.
That's not to say that Lloyd had a bad habit of recruiting thugs; he didn't and he ran a tight ship. All the more so with RR. Your comment only demonstrates how little of a chance UM fans gave RR and how much they magnified each little slip-up. I mean, seriously, did you even take the time to think about your stupid comment?
January 20th, 2011 at 4:56 PM ^
lol i never said i didnt like RR i met the guy 5 times hes a great guy i thought we needed the shake up the only thing i didnt like was our record.. i was having a discussion about the general publics views but alot of people on here got butt hurt over a discussion..
