JMO but thats a lot of fuel and $$ to be burning up unless something significant is happening.

You know dang well you'll be on here hashing out every aspect of the new coaches' philosophy, the specifics of the transition, the heated up recruiting, and then signing day.  Just like everyone else on here.  All that will take us to the second week in February. Think about how many sub-issues of sub- issues in each of those categories exist to have threads on.

So go and inform your loved ones and employers the harsh reality of the life you lead as stated by Saint Dantonio:  "This isn't over. It will never be over."

If turns out to be a smokesscreen, and Hoke is the mystery man, then I propose (right now) that his nickname be "the groundhog".

As in "when Michigan fans first saw the groundhog, there were 4 more weeks of constant binge drinking".

I know many people have doubts about Miles, and I know where everyone is coming from.  When it comes to X's and O's, however, this may be the best choice Michigan has.  There is quite a bit of magical thinking involved in assuming Michigan can just turn back to POWERFOOTBALL with the talent currently on scholarship.  For this reason, Hoke and H****** were not great ideas, and seem more motivated by passion and nostalgia than anything else.  (H****** would have been great for unifying the fan base, but that plane crashed into the mountain.)

Miles is a masterful delegator, and will assemble the staff that fits the talent Michigan has on scholarship.

"on-field antics and public comments" are not X's and O's.  I am speaking only of the teams he has assembled and led.

The "magical thinking" I had in mind is thinking that the "right" hire will allow Michigan to play the type of football we all grew up with, when the players we have on scholarship are fit for a different system.

I mean, the guy has just won and won, and I believe he's only lost one out of conference game since being at LSU.

How anyone can say he'd be a bad choice is beyond me. Great recruiter, great on the field results.

I get the complaints about oversigning, but that can't happen in the B1G. I hope we get him, and in fact, I think he's a better choice than JH was, despite how popular JH would have been.

This guy simply wins and wins in what, the toughest of all conferences? I think he's an upgrade of massive proportions from anyone we've had in a long time, even Lloyd. And I love Lloyd.
