i'm starting to think i have a problem. with this, bleacherreport, and flighttracker always up and running. plus getting my twitter updates on my BB. my wife is starting to get angry, but it's all worth it as long as Miles comes home.

Think I have a problem but they are constantly calling or texting me asking if iv found anything out yet. Between following Mgoblog, twitter, facebook, scout, and rivals iv been having to charge my blackberry 3 times a day for the past week. On the way to Indy I actually used my fathers blackberry as well as mine for 4 hrs.

But I'll be surprised if we hear anything before Friday.  At least from the report Brian Cook posted, it doesn't sound like any discussions with Miles have gotten far, or even begun.

If Miles turns us down flat, an announcement Wed would mean that we just hired our second choice.  Brandon would not want to jump that quickly into a media-fest of second-guessing our second choice.

This assumes that Miles is our first choice. For all you know they do not want to hire him, but want his advice on a hire. Or, they are only making a decision after exhausting all options. They might be settled to hire someone like Patterson or Gruden, but feel that Hoke and Miles deserve at least an interview.

I definitely have to disagree here. From the way things have gone down, after Harbaugh said no, it looks like someone else is Plan B, Miles is Plan C, and Hoke is Plan D. I think that Brandon has been stringing Miles along as he attempted to land Plan B. He wanted to keep Miles as a fall-back, so he slow played him...resulting in the bizzarre press-conference we saw today.

Let's face it, they were teammates and are still on good speaking terms.   DB doesn't need permission from LSU to take to him, if DB was only looking for advise.  This is more than that.  It doesn't mean he gets the job automatically on the other hand.

At his point I'm all for it!   Let's get him up there at half, introduce him, let the fans go nuts and then unleash his crazy on Crisler and watch the Maize Rage all start jumping and clapping in the the no-use-of-the-fingers-style-clap

Seriously, if he doesn't unleash some crazy anti-OSU-MSU-ND antics in his eccentric Bo-esque, otherwise simply insane, style then I will be sad.

If it's him, I want him off the wall grass eating, running triple-reverse-fake-punts on third down.
