TomVH: Three Recruiting Notes **Update**

Submitted by TomVH on

K Matt Goudis told me he's committed for now, but will be visiting Miami next weekend the 14th.

Dallas Crawford told me tonight that Michigan still leads. There is a rumor that he might be visiting Miami soon too. Michigan hiring Les Miles would help with Dallas.

I also spoke with Kris Frost tonight. He said he talked to one of the Auburn coaches this evening, and is expecting a phone call tomorrow from Gene Chizik. The phone call tomorrow will be when he finds out if Auburn accepts his commitment or not.

He said he was really upset when Michigan decided to fire Rich Rodriguez. He also said it's looking like Michigan may be out of it completely. The coaching change took a lot out of him, and he's not sure where they stand right now. It's obviously tough for Michigan because no one can call him right now to talk him out of it. We'll see what happens.

He brings in players and he wins.  He is blatantly unethical but does not allow the use of used cars (one step ahead of Tressel).  He has the highest HDL level in the Big Ten (sorry Dantonio).

Plus he doesn't really care of Goudis comes here because the Mad Hatter NEVER ACTUALLY KICKS FIELD GOALS.

Hey Goudis - you know how to throw a flip bounce lateral over your head?

miami is having a huge recruiting weekend, 14ish spots to fill have something like 40 recruits coming to town.  That maybe the last big event before the dead period before recruiting becomes a bit clearer everywhere

This past week has just made me sick.

I never thought I would be sitting here wondering if Michigan hiring Les Miles would help our chances retaining currently committed recruits.

I think I'm gonna throw up.

No one needs to see the chunks on the floor bro - then we'll all throw up.  Chain reaction...

Oh wait Joe Schad just tweeted:

Miami recruits all to be hosted by Luther Campbell.  Recruits appetite for love to be satisfied.

Unsure what that means exactly....

Usually I like Tom's post but I have a feeling they aren't  going to be very  uplifting these next few weeks.  Thanks anyways Tom.

If UM grabs a big name coach then a I see a few recruits coming back to UM.   DB has a to nail it with this one otherwise recruiting will take a bigger hit.

can just concentrate on getting the 18 of 22 returning starters back next year, it will go a long way for us. Our team is really young right now, and this recruiting class isn't the end of the world. At the end of the day, it will be full of 3-4 star guys who we probably won't see much of for a couple years.

No matter who we retain we will have little to no seniors in 4 years.  It's devastating.  At this rate we will have a younger than average team for the foreseeable future.  It's simply not an option if we ever want to return to glory.

If we are ND might as well start taking on their stupid sayings.
