More Dong Punches From the Army Game
1. Dee Hart selects Alabama
2. Hart explains that the reason he is doing so is because of MIchigan's coaching change PLUS his "close relationship with Saban"
3. Hart wins Army MVP award
Can you imagine how fired up excited this board would be right now if Hart was still on board? Sigh.......

Even when we had our old coaching staff I got the feeling Dee was going to eventually pick Alabama. The season ended badly for Michigan and there was just way too much opportunity for negative recruiting. I don't see how the Dee Hart saga was going to end well no matter who was coaching Michigan.

I still doubt Hart would be coming here even if RR had kept his job. The kid was swaying back and forth between Florida, Michigan and Alabama during the whole month of December. Frost is a much bigger loss, and I still think he'll end up here fwiw, especially if Miles is the next coach.

Because of the enormous amount of negativity and uncertainty surrounding Coach Rodriguez the whole month of December.
I'm glad Dee made himself relatively clear. There's little doubt that Coach Rodriguez had won his commitment. And that subsequent events lost it. I'd rather know that, than be left in doubt.

We would be pretty damn fired up! I remember a few years ago watching the army game and seeing Bryce Brown just tear shit up. I distinctly thought to myself how great would it be for us to have Bryce Brown. Does anyone know where Bryce Brown is now?
I hate to say this but losing Frost means a lot more to me than losing Dee Hart. That may sound like sacrilege but the reality is break out stars at running back are not uncommon (Marcus Lattimore, Dion Lewis, Mike Hart). Dee Hart may end up being great, but game changing linebackers are hard to find. Losing Frost really hurts....
Having said that, I don't know if we have truly lost anyone (except Hart and Zettel - they are permanently gone). If we hire a coach, we will get a few back. There is some talent on this team and as long as it doesn't transfer, we will be in decent shape.

those saying Dee Hart wasn't coming to Michigan even if RR stayed. There is no evidence at all to support that. He was Blue until the speculation of firing became rampant.

It makes them not feel terrible about losing him.

I think Dee agrees with you. At least that's what he just said when they asked him "why Alabama....."

All those improvements Saban made to Hart's High School did not have any effect on the choice, either.......

Man all this and we still coachless.....

Dong hurts. No more please.

Anyone know who @incarceratedbob is? Keeps twittering that Miles is in deep negotiatins with Michigan, lawyers involved, giving ultimatums to LSU about contract extension, playing both sides. Is this just someone having fun?

I have been worried all year that we were quietly morphing into ND. I was wrong. We shot right past ND and are closing fast on Pitt.

Here is a reenactment of how I felt when Dee put on the Bama hat. Try to guess which one is me.
Side note: gay dolls or gayest dolls? NTTAWWT.

Knoxville would enjoy this many dong punches. This blows.

SUCKED!!! Next time why don't we evaluate sooner so we aren't playing a guessing game with recruits. I would have like the today's high school player of the game to have committed to Michigan...

Please, no.

At this rate is Michigan even going to sign a full recruiting class?

Watching the game was depressing, seeing how many guys we lost out on. At least Blake is still on board.
