Now they are a fanbase with entitlement issues.  Before Saban, they hadn't won anything in a few decades, but none of them seem to remember that.  Their last two coaches have won a national title, which seems to have convinced them that anyone can do that.  Miles is 61-16 at LSU.  By any standard, he's had an outstanding run.

Don't forget, pro sports in Ohio suck, have sucked for decades, and will continue to suck for ever and ever Amen.  The Crew doesn't count because the MLS is a clown league.

Ohio State is their little mini-SEC team, complete with shady recruiting and improper benefits.  Let them have that small moment of athletic relevance.

I grew up in the flat (lafayette, la) and still live here. I grew up when everyone and their cousins were giving LSU tickets away. No one ever wanted to make a 50 mile trek to see a shitty team. Now since they got a split NC in 03, second BCS title with 2 losses in 07. Now LSU fans act like they are a dynasty.Everyday at work since this Coaching Circus has begun, everyone is giggling and laughing at me because we are going to land Les Miles. Everyone hates this dude. Miles will be the first one out if he gets a decent job offer. And don't even get me started on the text messages I've received about UM and Miles during the Cotton Bowl game.

They didn't fully undo all the edits on his page. It still says that he attended "Slapdick High School in Elyria, Ohio".

At least I hope the school in Elyria isn't named "Slapdick High"............

I noticed that - I imagine it was the Slapdick family that first settled the land near the current town. What is not as well known is that, later on, they changed the family name to Tressel.

I don't understand how so many people don't want Les Miles. His offense seems to be the perfect transition for the talent we have and all they keep discussing is his love of defense and special teams??!

Denard in the option would be nastttyy..

do I want LSU to win or lose?

if he loses, less attractive to DB who seems to think the bowl game is real important but lsu fans probably thinking good riddance

if he wins, lsu more likely to try and keep him
