a nightmare

Submitted by varsity on

now this has no origins in coaching rumor, or inside sources, just something that came to mind as i was walking to get my mail a few minutes ago.   say richrod ends up and uconn, lets just say, and he ends up taking denard with him.  denard sits out next year, has a junior year in 2012 with rich's first full class, and in 2013 as a senior, with 2 full years of richrod recruits, takes on a visiting michigan team early in the season......ahhhhh

He was fired within the past hour and you've already got him at UConn with Denard as a 5th senior QB in 2013?

Dial it down a touch.

M fans are becoming so irrational. DB has done everything perfect so far. Got the big ten to keep the OSU game at the end of the year, kept most rivalries intact, has created a great out of conference schedule. How about we see what he has in store before we freak out. He has had months to plan this, we have to assume he knows that getting JH was not a gurantee by any means.

DB should have fired RichRod after the OSU game and had a new staff hired by now so they could've started recruiting.  So far DB has botched this just as bad as Martin botched the previous coaching search.  Heaven help us if DB hires Hoke, who by the way doesn't even have a winning record (47-50) and only had 2 winning seasons in the oh so powerful MAC.

Wait, the very man who pontificated again and again about loyalty to Michigan turns out to be more loyal to a former coach than to the program?

is going to be finding a good coach willing to deal with everything. Unless someone big name is brought in, the coach is going to be just as embattled from day one as RR was. Half the fan base will support them, while the other half will hate them.

Harbaugh would have at least gotten most the fan support behind him.

What really sucks is that, at this point, almost anyone Brandon brings in will only further divide the fan base.

It looks as if it's going to be another non-MICHIGAN MAN (unless it's Hoke), and we all know how well that was received last time.

I'm going to school with a QB who committed to UConn. He's leaving in two weeks so he can train in the spring. He'll be a junior in 2013, assuming he doesn't redshirt. Basically, think of Chris Relf with more accuracy. Pretty physical runner.
