_________________ tweets that Harbaugh is coming to Michigan thread.

I have been one of the strong opponents of the CC posts the last couple of weeks, but now that the season is over, and considering how yesterday went, it is very obviously the supreme topic of discussion at this stage.  It's interesting hearing what insiders say, but the bogging down of the front page with tweets from various writers can be a bit tiresome, so here's my proposal:

Any tweets, headlines, etc from various journalists can go here.  If every tweet gets its own post, then that's all we'll see on the front page, and it will cause a great deal of animosity on the board.  Speculation is fun, but also aggravates a lot of posters.

After yesterday's embarrassment I kinda like the CC posts.  Cause IMO we are going to have one and it's time for rampant speculation and conjecture.

Plus, as good of an idea as this might be it has zero chance of working.  People are going to post CC threads right up until we actually have a CC.

For the past month, people wanted to avoid CC bc it was clogging up the board.  At ths point, there is NOTHING ELSE Michigsan related to talk about.  At this point, most of us are desparately hoping for a coaching change, and want to see every single shred of evidence, non-evidence, speculation, hypothesis and guess that there is.

We discussed that very important issue this morning.  Once we got that settled we moved on to the selection on shoes by the coaching staff and their impact on the game itself.  Lastly we plan on discussing hair products and if Rich and Gerg gell, mousse or use hair spray.

You know...the other really important issues of the day.

I don't see anything wrong with CC posts right now. There is really nothing else to talk about. There are no more games. I doubt the staff will be doing much recruiting before learining fo their fate. If the board fills up with CC posts, then so be it.

Yeah, but we are currently in that rare time of year where football season is over, and basketball season is the sole focus.

Until an actual coaching change takes place, there's no reason to keep speculating about the same retread nonsense. Go hang out on Mlive or the Scout boards if you want to keep talking about the same mindless topics.

yes, this is brilliant. if someone breaks the news that michigan has a new coach, let's bury it as the 193rd comment in a thread that no longer shows up on the site's front page. nothing wrong with that plan.

There have been approximately 7 billion tweets about how Harbaugh is a done deal, and how insiders say he's coming to Michigan.  For some reason, people always think they warrant new threads.  This is an extremely common type of post:

"________ from ESPN just said on _________ that Harbaugh is coming to Michigan.  What do you guys think?"

then I'll add. The department appears to be much more tight-lipped than last time around, which I love and hate. Love because I don't think DB will screw it up like we did last time with Miles. Hate because I just won't find out when I want to!!

Before the ceremonial official tweet from Dave Brandon announcing Michigan's new Head Coach, shouldn't someone have to confirm that they've seen white smoke coming from Schembechler Hall? That might be fitting, if the new Head Coach is going to be the Head (Stanford) Cardinal.
