Tay Odoms & The Team
How about a bright spot today with the play of Tay Odoms!? To overcome an injury such as he has and to put forth quite the effort on the field today I found it to be a great 'lead by example' scenario for the rest of the team to bare witness. I was also thinking how during the last couple seasons his play could leave your stomach aching with concern with his difficulties holding onto or catching the ball but today I didn't feel that nervous sinking feeling in my stomach once. Experienced players are a novelty in all sports, of which this team is slowly growing up and no doubt we will be a stronger team next year. Go Blue, Keep The Faith!

His effort to fight for extra yards on kick returns really made me happy that he was back. It really looked like he was playing with determination and even some anger. Glad he'll be back next year!
I have faith! Go Blue!!

No offense, but we when you lose by 38 points, it's hard to consider anything a "bright spot."

Considering he had a major injury and wasn't expected to play until recently, you can look at it as a bright spot. He played very well, especially on those returns.

... but imagine today if we had to return 8 kickoffs and were worried about fumbling every one of them.
He certainly did all he could do today.

Considering that he was out for the season two months ago and managed to play in the game, I think that's A PRETTY BRIGHT SPOT.
Good day sir.

liked this kid. It's too bad with the injury this year. Hopefully next year he can stay healthy and showcase his talents for the full season.

I love Tay... He obviously wanted to play really badly and looked like he was playing his ass of today.
But honestly, I believe ALL of the players on this team play with maximum effort. I really think that is the biggest reason I root for this team so hard. I think these are hard-working kids and they've paid their dues with a lot of effort. It just seems as though the scheme (defensively obviously), and their talent level is what is preventing them from achieving success. Certainly not effort.

I was a nice bright spot in an otherwise dismal performance.
GO BLUE!!

Another bright side: Logging onto my favorite website to see 50+ worthless threads about our coaching staff.
Go Blue!

Sorry I really lost focus. Other than the first few drives of the game, Tae Odoms was the single bright spot. Every kickoff I would catch myself enjoying the game for a split second.
Go Blue!

when healthy has been one of the most relable players on the team.

Tay was a champion today. Good for us, good for our team.

Props to Odoms for coming back and playing well today.
Beyond that, the most striking thing for me is how much better he is today compared to when he was forced to play as a true frosh. Talented players that put in the work do improve.

At least Devin Gardner did not burn his red shirt today

that the team played hard till the end; they did not give up. None of those hosers in the media can ask Coach Rod if he lost control of the team, they all played hard for themselves and the coaches.

You are right, despite getting kicked around no one that I saw lost their composure.
