However, his coach does not think that Michigan is the best fit for him as it stands currently, and in my opinion, this, as well as the CC, has caused the delay in Anthony's recruitment based on my own conversations with Anthony's Mom and Dad.

Do you know why the coach thinks Michigan is not a good fit?  Thanks.

If Harbaugh is "The Guy" we probably won't know anything until after his Stanford team plays its bowl game (Monday evening). I think it will be Tuesday or Wednesday before any resolution can be expected.

Yes, if he had decided to fire him, he would have done it after the OSU game and done everything he could to bring in whomever the replacement would have been.  The bowl game is great to win, but it's more important to salvage the recruiting class for next year.  A change with only a month before signing day could lead to a seriously disasterous class and perhaps a larger than average number of transfers.  If there was no doubt, why risk it?

I think he stays if Michigan wins and is fired if Michigan loses, but that's pure speculation.

Damn, this is totally unexpected, I'm not sure what to think.  It's 9am in AZ, and I think I need a captain & coke to calm my nerves.  Calling TomVH, illuminate the batsignal STAT!!  I can't handle losing anything to the Spartans, enough is enough!  Come to the promise land Anthony!!!  Go Blue!

How can you possibly be still sleeping with the future of the Michigan program on the line?  Will the sun come up tomorrow if Zettel doesn't chose us?  We have got to know what this 18 year old is thinking!

isn't he considering Iowa?  Tom VH as of yesterday was posting that there will be a January announcement, and now that is not the case.  Those recruits who are heavily blue ususally give Tom heads up re announcements.

I think it will be Iowa.

PSU, in the last year or two, was voted the country's biggest party school. It's a nice enough place. But it's not a very good school. Look at all the rankings.

Maybe we should be reading into Tom's silence.  If the kid told him what he was going to do, but asked him not to say anything until the announcement, maybe it is easier for Tom to say nothing than to try to evade the question without giving up the answer.  I say he is Blue and Tom already knows.

I am hoping he is making the decision today due to;

1-He has no doubt "It's Great To Be A Michigan Wolverine",

2-He sees the available spots are filling up, and,

3-He has a friend, (or two), that he hopes to influence to get signed up if he does it first.

It is tough waiting while all we can do speculate.

That pretty much tells you all you need to know. If Sam Webb (BlueSam on Scout) hasn't given a "gut feeling" on WTKA or Tom Beaver hasn't started his patented percentage countdown, then Zettel probably isn't committing to UM.

It would be very disappointing if a young man who claims to be a lifelong UM fan ends up going to MSU. I really hope he picks Iowa or PSU if he doesn't choose UM.
