Rich Rod should use this speech before Gator Bowl

I don't know if this has ever been posted on here, but I just ran across it and thought I would share it. A little long, but great speech!

Oh and someone please take the audio off this and use it for a UM season highlight video. It would be perfect. Because we are CHAMPIONS

Text to his speech is linked here.

The coach's name is John Flowers.  He coaches the JV team here in Leland High School in San Jose, California.  Leland is perhaps best known as the alma mater of Pat Tillman, and a moderate power here in Northern California.

The owner of the local Michigan bar is a huge supporter of Leland's athletics programs.  We have purchased numerous Leland fund raising items from them over the years while watching Michigan games.  Perhaps we can use the connection to bring Coach Flowers to speak to the team at some point...

and ties them all together for the purpose of getting it done. He took a little Alexander The Great, Nietche, Machiavelli, Tzu and, of course, Churchill, bot nothing wrong with that at all.

Pre game speech has one purpose only, and if you are going to borrow phrases best to go with proven winners.  I liked it a lot.  Thanks for sharing.

That whole "never leave an enemy behind" thing changes things. I am *not* bringing buckeyes or green dudes home. You can forget that.

Edit: the on-line text I found does not match the speech as posted. I think we have an editing fail. It turns out we don't have to bring buckeyes home after all.

Every speech Ive ever seen him do involves putting more tape on, putting more air in your helmet, and lacing up your shoes a little tighter, but then he says except you Denard.

For all the crap he's had to put up with for the last three years, I'd be happy if he did this:

and it would serve everyone right for second-guessing everyone from the Board of Regents on down.
