Sims, Harris To Return
STAYING PUT: DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris said they will be back next year, Sims for his senior year and Harris for his junior season, putting off the chance at a pro career.
"I never even have thought about it," Harris said.
Awesome; expectations are now pegged at a tourney return at the least.
That's encouraging.
I think we have a chance to compete for the Big Ten title next year, especially with Harris and Sims back. What would their stock have been if they had declared? Anyone know?
I like the commitment. Hopefully Manny will stick around and earn a degree before he moves on to the big league.
on the national scene...this only help (barring any significant injuries or off the courts incidents) solidify the roster for next season.
with these guys returning and cronin playing and darius morris coming i think our starting line up will be very solid next season
It may go without saying that either of these fine young guys leaving for the NBA at this point in their basketball lives would have been nothing short of a disastrous decision.

You know why they didnt go pro...cuz they wouldnt be worth anything above the collegiate level. Congrats on not finally cheating and making the tournament but you guys suck. At football too. GO GREEN!!!!!
Since I'm sure you've watched a lot of Michigan Basketball games you're probably right.
Except that you're not.
This Mock Draft might help. Interesting that it shows Harris and Sims being drafted in 2010. Meanwhile, only one Spartan.
