Room to grow too. This the kind of big explosive player we need to add to this defense.  Great work by him. He showed a lot of character taking care of business.

Merry Christmas and a Happy 4 or  5 years at the AA. Congratulations on sucking up what was probably dissapointment, working hard to reach your goal of playing wolverine football. We will anticipate seeing you on the practice field this spring and contributing to our breakout season. Thank you for your determination and hard work. mimimumof 12 wins next year.

But I don't think it matters that he's an EE for scholarship count purposes - the incoming class (2011) won't be over 25 players (or 27 or whatever the B1G limit is now), there aren't enough scholarships available.  As long as that's the case, no reason to backdate.

The relevant cap is the 85 total scholarship limit and that's ongoing.

I want to make sure everyone realizes that I said I don't know if he'll be in this class, despite this qualifying score. Everyone seems to be celebrating, but there's a decent chance he's not going to be in this class. Before this happened today I had heard he wouldn't be, which is why I said in my original post to take everything fwiw and that I didn't know what would happen. Not to always be the harbinger of doom, but everyone seemed to be celebrating prematurely.

I had heard up to this point that he didn't have an offer.  And if Frost is a part of the class, it seems like overkill to take Jones, Morgan, Frost, and Kinard (even though Frost might start off at WR).

I'm not saying Kinard WON'T get an offer, but he didn't have one until recently, if at all.
