I'm pretty sure that I've said it a million times, but here it is once more: Darrius Morris is a beast. He's so athletic, he knows what's going on, and now that he can hit the occasional three he's a huge asset to the team in so many ways. Much improved since last year, too. I remember watching last year when he'd have the chance for the open three, think about it, and not take the shot. Now he's got the confidence (and the role now since Manny left) to do just about anything.

From Rothstein's Bryant "Notebook" article at annarbor.com:

Not all of Dumars’ grades were posted by tip-off, so he didn’t even dress for the game.

Dumars is expected to be available for the Big Ten opener against Purdue.

I don't care who the competition was, that was an impressive win. 21 assists and only 3 turnovers is a formula for victory over just about anyone.

...."NCAA tournament?" during the halftime show. Yes, too early, but a surprising set of results over this brutal stretch:

Tue., Dec. 28

vs. Purdue

Sun., Jan. 2

vs. Penn State

Wed., Jan. 5

at Wisconsin

Sun., Jan. 9

vs. Kansas

Wed., Jan. 12

vs. Ohio State

...and then we can talk.
