OT: UM Early Admissions Decisions
I just thought I should share some good news with the rest of the MGoCommunity, a lot of negativity has been going on lately, but today I was given the opportunity to attend the University of Michigan in the form of an acceptance e-mail. It has always been my dream to attend UM, and once it became painfully apparent I would not be the next Braylon Edwards, I went for the more academic route, and it's great that I can finally realize that dream. 'Tis the season for a lot of great news coming to high school seniors.

I just got deferred myself, with a 31 on my ACT and 3.83 at a very competitive private school (CC). Hoping good news will sometime come by April, because I really don't want to end up at the other big ten school in Michigan. Please wish all of us who got deferred luck, especially me and GoBlue418!

They do acceptance e-mails now? Thats kind of a bummer, getting my letter was an exciting time. Seems like an e-mail is less 'special' I guess.

If i do get accepted further down the road, I would definitely prefer letter in the mail than a stupid email. I even got a little excited when i got my acceptance letter from State just because it was a pretty cool to see an acceptance letter.
