I've had a Sam Adams cream stout and a holiday porter, but winter lager is also good.

I like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat a little more than Sam Adams Winter Lager, it's pretty good though

I've always loved Labbat Blue. Maybe its because I'm half Canadian, half Michiganian, or maybe it's because I bleed Blue (I checked once and it's actually true), or maybe its becaue I just happen to be sipping on one right now before the wifey and I finally get to go on our long overdue honeymoon to the Carribean tomorrow.
Stay warm bitches and GO BLUE.

That and Southern Tier Pumpking are the best holiday brews. Still have a six pack of GL that I won't crack into until Xmas eve.

Brasseurs de Montréal Ghosttown Stout. It's quite interesting. Stout brewed with absinthe. Pretty heavy on the anise flavor, but its growing on me the more I drink... Anyone ever had other Brasseurs de Montréal beers?

One shot of vodka, one shot of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of sugar, shaken with ice and strained into a sugar-rimmed martini glass. Is there something missing? Because it tastes like ass.

Cherry Coke in the Tap Room. Writing a paper. There are 3 other people in the entire Union.

It's al handmade with no digital machines. Only about 25 people work there total and they kick out hundreds of thousands of bottles a year. That stuff IS really good. Damn, now I'm a bit jealous...

There's something so self-contained about a 40. No matter how big or tolerant you are, you can be pretty sure that if you put in appropriate work on a 40, you will be feeling alright.

Tadcaster Oatmeal Stout. The best beer on the planet. Arrogant bastard is good stuff, though. I might take some shots of agwa with lime later... That paired with hunting in the game Red Dead Redemption. That game is my crack right now

Old German Premium Lager. In a can, natch.

it's Brita filtered water tonight. The wife and I both are nursing severe colds. Fridays are normally a trip to Jungle Jims (amazing Cincy area grocery store) for several bottles of wine, something interesting for dinner, and a blu ray from the Red Box. Tonight however, it's listen to my congested wife snore as I read mgoblog.
December 18th, 2010 at 12:29 AM ^
Jungle Jims is the best. Took my wife there last summer on a trip to the Heartland from Portland. We spent three hours and could've spent even more.
