Michigan Stadium under the lights!

Submitted by Louisville Wolverine on

I know that it isn't news to anyone, but the stadium looks great with the new lights. A few of the wide shots from the hockey game look amazing. It's really exciting for the Notre Dame game next year.

I have heard from a few non-Michigan media people who say that it is now the finest football facility in the country.   The power and resources of the University is astounding.

another gripe post during a football beatdown by one of our rivals.  Nothing wrong with an excited thread start.  It's the first time in a while we have looked this good on the big stage in a major sporting event.  Good for you Louisville.

Recruits had to have loved that atmosphere.  The lights, the fireworks, the crowd, and of course, the outcome of the game.  Man, I really wish I could have been there.

A great game, and hopefully the recruits on campus were sufficiently wowwed.  Happy to see UM take the lead on this type of marketing/promotional avenue.

I totally agree.  Don't discount the fact that the coaches can point to the stands and say that this type of turnout happens basically every week at Michigan, and how big a deal this could be to kids who come from towns with 1/10 the number of people in the entire city.

I know that these lights are just temporary, so does anyone know what the permanent ones will look like for next year? I thought they lit the stadium tremendously, but I think they could make them look more aesthetically pleasing.
