the play on the field was confirmed...goal
December 11th, 2010 at 5:18 PM ^
"you and I know, it's gonna be Michigan again....."
December 11th, 2010 at 5:19 PM ^
That way Michigan defeats MSU by a touchdown.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:20 PM ^
113,411.....Go Blue!
This will help recruiting in two sports...if you are there and you aren't impressed, you aren't impressible.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:21 PM ^
Dear God - The rout is on. What a shame!
No doubt the Freep will say something tomorrow like
"Michigan fails to score on every shot in Big Chill"
Or
"Rodriguez fails to bring 115,000 to Big House"
December 11th, 2010 at 5:30 PM ^
I was thinking the same thing. Freep article tomorrow: "Big chill... not that cool".
December 11th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
The Headline will be Michigan gets first win at the Big House over MSU or OSU in the RR era.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:21 PM ^
One more goal and we top the 1995 Purdue game in scoring.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:22 PM ^
"Might be the best field goal Michigan has had all year" I laughed, and then got sad.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:22 PM ^
Wouldn't 6-0 be a perfect final score?????
Goooooooooo BLUE!!!
December 11th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
2 min left, the POST disagrees with you.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:23 PM ^
Is he available for the Gator Bowl!
December 11th, 2010 at 5:26 PM ^
Man, Hunwick is not a big guy. When he drops in the crease, he looks like a kid.
But the dude can play goal.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:29 PM ^
Would have been nice if they had brought in a decent team that could give Michigan a game.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:31 PM ^
Nope, I'll take a teabagging of MSU any day, thank you very much.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
NMU I'm sure would be glad to come down and give U of M a run for their money. When those two play in Hockey it's the only time I root against Michigan ("root" is such a strong word, though), it's weird.
/plug for NMU hockey
December 11th, 2010 at 5:37 PM ^
Any win against MSU is a good win - just enjoy it.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
Our top line can compete with Michigan, but we have absolutely no depth and you can't get away with that in a sport where you're changing lines every 40 seconds.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
113,411 most people at Michigan stadium ever? Did we expect it to beat Uconn?
December 11th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
nice to see good defense being played at the Big House. shut out baby.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:35 PM ^
Of a Dave Brandon Bitch Slap...
December 11th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
Amaizeing work by Hunwick at the end of the game.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
Shutout in the Big House!
December 11th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
Why did the announcer keep actually SAYING shutout? Has he never been around a hockey game before, ever??
December 11th, 2010 at 5:50 PM ^
He knew what he was doing. Announcers want a close game.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:39 PM ^
on the Michigan players faces!
December 11th, 2010 at 5:47 PM ^
The game, the record....all if it was just goddamned awesome. Makes me mighty proud. Some "Hello.." threads tomorra perhaps?
December 11th, 2010 at 5:48 PM ^
Nice fireworks show at the end too.
The recruits there have got to be loving this.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:54 PM ^
Michigan won 5-0 for anyone that's wondering. (Couldn't find it on the thread, looked it up on Yahoo sports)

Hopefully we get some football commits as a result.
Anyone know if there will be a torrent of the game? Don't have BTN here, and couldn't find a live stream.
December 11th, 2010 at 6:01 PM ^
I know it isn't helpful now, but the game was streamed on foxsportsdetroit.com as long as you were outside of the FSD viewing area. I don't know if they archive the footage for rewatching the game, but it couldn't hurt to check.

It is kind of nice that the largest crowd ever attending a hockey game got to see Michigan stomp MSU. Here's to being on the good side of a rivalry beatdown. Let's see some more of that next fall please.
