Bowl Schedule for Google/iCal
Continuing the tradition started last year, a little holiday gift for those who use calendars on Outlook or Google rather than opening ESPN several times per day.
iCal link (.ics file)
For those of you who don't use google calendar, this is what it would look like. It's nice if you're into that sort of thing.
For those of you needing a refresher on how to add maps to google:
To add this to Google Calendar, under Other Calendars, choose Add > By URL. Not sure how to do this in iCal so if someone could help out that would be appreciated.
Enjoy.

Awesome... thanks!!

Now to run through the events and add all the channels so I don't have to use that pesky "guide" button on game day.

I seriously gave thought to adding that and the announcers for each game. After about 4 games, I decided that it was more effort than I really wanted to put into it. May get added soon.

If you do decide to include the network and announcers, the506.com has you covered. But you would still have to C&P for each game.

Thanks for the early gift!
For those that use iCal, it's very easy. Download the .ics calendar (same link as above). Then just double click on the downloaded file (Basic.ics). You'll be prompted to add it to iCal and select a calendar. Select "New Calendar". Click 'ok'. Then you're done!

hey, not to hijack the thread here, but very related:
anyone else use the michigan football ical calendar at:
webcal://ical.mac.com/paulsar/Michigan_Football.ics
i have used this calendar for a few years now (mad props to whomever keeps it updated) and regularly refreshed for up to date game info. unfortunately, it hasnt updated in over a month and seems to have dried up.
any advice? other calendars out there that are regularly updated that i should point iCal to?

This one is regularly updated (includes box scores!)
I'm not sure if that link works for you or how to get that into your iCal. (unless you subscribe through google calendar like me).
perhaps someone with more technical knowhow can help us get to an .ics.

The 1 hour block versus 3 hours is a little disappointing but I think I'll survive. My attention span is not the greatest so seeing the current time in the middle of a block of time usually lets me know what I'm missing or forgetting. It doesn't matter. I really appreciate this information.

Good point. I'll keep this in mind when I get to the editing for TV. Hopefully an update will make it out this weekend.

For free.
There's also an ESPN App now:

But I haven't tried it, and though it's free, it looks like one of those that ask you for money to get more information.
