Vada Murray article in the Freep
I know people don't like the Freep, and I don't blame you, but this is a really nice article about Vada Murray and how he is doing in his battle with lung cancer. click or don't click, your choice, or maybe someone can get the non-advert link for it (I'm not sure how.)

I saw Vada give a talk in Bacon's class the week of the 2008 Michigan OSU game. It is wonderful to see he is still battling and holding off.

As a fellow Michigan grad and cancer patient I will absolutely keep Vada in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the update (even if it did come from Pravda)

THey were two of the best to play for michigan. I can still see them jumping to block the fg. Keep fighting Vada!

Vada's first wife was my middle school gym teacher, and every year during our unit on football, we'd watch a VHS tape of the '89 UCLA game. Tripp and Vada jumping behind the line blocking field goals was a thing of beauty.

...that the trial that Vada Murray is participating in seems to be causing his tumor to shrink and is allowing him to return to work. The last time I read about his battle, it seemed like it was going in the opposite direction so this is very good news.
Also: This thread is not the place for Freep invective.

Awesome to know that he is doing well.
Even better to know that he has a great attitude about his situation, and embodies the ideal Michigan Man.
