Where to watch the game....after the game?

Submitted by tasnyder01 on

I won't be able to watch the game until after it is over.  I do not have a DVR.

HOW DOES I WATCH IT?  ESPN3.COM?  BTN.COM?  ANY OTHER INTERESTING SITES?

(and yes, this means I will pull a hiatus on my adiction to this board until after I'm done watching the game.  I don't need it spoiled!)

PLEASE HELP ME!  I NEEDS TO KNOW!

This was possibly one of the best exchanges I've read on the Board in a long time.  Both witty and respectful (at least as respectful as you can be talking about another's family member in a lewd and inappropriate way).

Thanks for the comic relief this Friday afternoon!

Go directly to espn3.com to avoid possibly catching the score on espn.com.  If you go to the site while the game is still underway, I think the game will come up live when you click on the link.  If you go to the site after the game is over you can click on a 'watch replay' link and pick it up from the beginning.

If this is your first time using espn3 you probably have to identify your cable provider for some reason.  When I first used it there was some drop down list to select cable provider.  Since I have Comcast I had to log on to my Comcast online account before using espn3.  Not sure how this will impact your use of it but I would imagine it would be just one minor hoop to jump through before being able to watch the replay.

This is how I watched the OTs against Illinois.  My DVR ended at the end of regulation because I "only" set it to run over the scheduled program time by half an hour.  Since I didn't even start watching the game until 8pm or so, by the time I got to espn3 to see the OTs the game was over and I just clicked watch replay and fast forwarded to OT.
