His Dudeness

I want to wake up to a Fred Jackson alarm clock.

FJAC: "Good morning His Dudeness, you are a great man. The greatest man I have ever seen. You are going to be victorious over this day. I know Steve Jobs and you are pretty close. By the time you retire I think people will say His Dudeness and Steve Jobs in the same sentence. Get your pants on and get out there."

I never thought of Hopkins as Chris Perry. I always think of Perry as more of a Minor type, with more speed. Hopkins reminds me of Wheatly, but not quite as fast. It just seems like an interesting comparison.

as aspiring to be more of an A-Train back.  Wheatley had sprinter speed and Perry was very quick.  I see Hopkins as more of a power back like A-Train, plain and simple.  I think that's what we have in Hopkins and that's how he should model his game; see the hole and power through it.

Not to be an armchair doc, but I wonder if Lewan's concussion-like symptons might have originated with his carry.  Looks like his head hits the ground in a (un)funny way when he goes down.

It makes me happy to see all the good kids we're assembling on this squad, it's sort of striking how genuine they all seem. Plus, they don't seem to be stupid, so that's nice.

I don't think I've ever seen an interview with Hopkins. He looked really comfortable in front of the camera. I love hearing the team talk! Every one of them makes for a solid interview.
