I've decided that I really like Vinopal a lot. Single handedly stopped a TD on that short pass from their own endzone that went for 30 some yards. Definitely has some speed, good fundamentals.

I know it's Purdue but you can see our team speed. Also, the team did a good job of flowing to the ball and shedding blocks. Again, it's Purdue but there is improvement from earlier in the year, ala UMass.

Yeah Ezeh made some good plays that I questioned whether that was him or someone in his uniform.

Carvin had a pretty good game too, and I will agree with some others above this post that commented on Vinopal. He also played pretty well at safety this past weekend (okay so it was against a shitty Purdue team, but still).

Yeah I was a little surprised to see a linebacker make a good play and it turn out to be ezeh.  I think in the final drive when we were basically playing prevent defense he was at MLB again too, thought thats probably (hopefully?) situational.

Carvin made some great tackles which was awesome.  Also gotta give props to Cam tho what with the fumbles and the scoring.

To Vinopal, for actually being able to chase down skill position players.

To Avery, for two more good PBUs.

To Carvin, for bringing the wood.

To Rogers, for two INTs.  Keep those game balls, and thanks for never giving up when you were buried on the depth chart.

To Ezeh, for playing great at a new position.  It can't be easy losing your job as a RS senior, but I'm looking forward to the next three games with him at OLB.

Part of this looks like it's on Purdue's OC. If Michigan's rushing RVB, Roh, and Patterson, why is Patterson consistently getting triple-teamed while the ends are left one-on-one with the tackles? Did they gameplan for Martin maybe? Or just figure someone would be open underneath quick enough that the ends wouldn't cause trouble.

Guy just seems to have a nose for the ball. Made some nice plays in this game. Vinopal seems to be playing better as well. Think we might have found some safeties.

Good stuff as always. Proud of the D.

The guy at the 1:50 mark after Cam's TD going "yeah, yeah" while twirling his fingers just made my day.
