stanford-arizona state (7:30pm/4:30pm),
USC-arizona (8pm/5pm)

anyone else watching Oregon @ Cal? Is it too early to start feeling giddy about a Cal upset? Cal just stopped them again after scoring a TD fairly easily. I know too early, but wouldn't that send the BCS into a tizzy. TCU in the championship?!
November 13th, 2010 at 8:40 PM ^
What's with those uniforms? It's hard to say whose are worse. I half expect to see "Hehateme" on the back of one.
November 13th, 2010 at 8:51 PM ^
+1 for Hehateme, completely forgot about that.
November 13th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
by default. Cal is closest to Maize and Blue.
November 13th, 2010 at 9:23 PM ^
I have to say though, Cal's all yellow uniform scheme gives me hope that a full "Maize Out" could work for us.
Night game 2011 anyone?
November 13th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
there could be more than one!
November 13th, 2010 at 10:50 PM ^
at least our kicking game doesnt cost us games :)
November 13th, 2010 at 7:07 PM ^
an eye on a couple teams down here in SEC territory. SC vs FL at 7:15. Lattimore has been very impressive as a freshman and these Cocks, LOLZ (sorry that's my inner 9 year old,) have been pretty on and off with a big win against BAMA followed by a loss to a not very impressive KY. Should be a good one.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:36 PM ^
was anyone else surprised to see that Florida is ranked? Admittedly I had not looked at the top 25 poll recently and was mildly surprised to see them sitting at #22.
Same record as UofM, similar losses...overall an unremarkable resume. Typical SEC love I guess...
November 13th, 2010 at 7:09 PM ^
SDSU is keeping it scary close against TCU. Down 14 with the ball and 5 minutes left.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:10 PM ^
by down 14 I mean down 12. And they just scored! Down 5 now. Hoooo boy!
November 13th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
Very odd game ... after going up 14-0 they went three-and-out a bunch of times (nine punts for the game) before rallying later. They had several pass plays for 30+ yards, which suggests a TCU vulnerability for whoever gets them in a bowl.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:10 PM ^
what channel is the tcu game on
November 13th, 2010 at 7:13 PM ^
It's on the college football wastelands of Versus. But better than MTN.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
What's weird, I've had Versus available on basic cable since it came into existence. It's never made sense to me that people call it a wasteland. To me, that'd be CBS College Sports. You HAVE to order higher tiers to get that.
Speaking of the game though, TCU converts and the game is over.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:23 PM ^
Well, Comcast owns Versus so if you have Comcast you automatically get it. Other providers may or may not have it. Yes, CBS College Sports (which used to be CSTV) is much more of a wasteland. If Vs. is a wasteland, CBSC is a radioactive wasteland.
On Charter, Vs. is channel 310. But surprisingly, I get that, ESPN Classic (ch. 301) and ESPNU (ch. 302) with basic cable.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:13 PM ^
Versus
November 13th, 2010 at 7:15 PM ^
Hardaway 3 3 pointers and a couple FTs, 17-5 good guys, 13:15.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:16 PM ^
Don't look now, but we are playing a very good San Diego State team next season, that will likely be ranked and giving TCU a run for their money...gulp
November 13th, 2010 at 7:20 PM ^
Well, there's a chance Hoke will be hired by Minnesota. If he had upset TCU it might have sealed the deal.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:17 PM ^
I wonder what would have happened if Lloyd could have gotten Brady Hoke hired.
Heh... Lloyd... Brady... funny.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
So who are people picking in the USC-Florida game? I'm taking USC. I don't entirely believe in Florida's offensive resurgence. Hasn't it been against terrible teams?
November 13th, 2010 at 7:23 PM ^
November 13th, 2010 at 7:25 PM ^
Well, that LSU score and the opening kickoff being returned for a touchdown make me less sure about my pick.
But Florida still has ZERO yards of total offense! ZOMG they suck.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:28 PM ^
Plus their Time of Possession is terrible! The spread will never work.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:33 PM ^
I like USC in this game, mostly because of Alshon Jeffrey and Marcus Lattimore. And of course, his brah-ness himself.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:23 PM ^
This is probably common knowledge, but why did spurrier leave florida?
November 13th, 2010 at 7:24 PM ^
Resigned and took the Redskins job two weeks later.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:31 PM ^
He was getting tired of winning 10 games every year and still hearing it from fans that it wasn't good enough. Not realizing they don't have that much golf time in the NFL.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:23 PM ^
Auburn just lost a player for punching a Georgia player.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:25 PM ^
And another! TWO defensive linemen have thrown punches and been ejected. Both will miss the first half of the Iron Bowl.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:30 PM ^
You beat me to it. The SEC... man... 2 ejections for punches... enough said.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:26 PM ^
Pretty heated... i wonder how many bar fights are going to break out today in Auburn.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:30 PM ^
And another...
November 13th, 2010 at 7:28 PM ^
Auburn just lost a second player for throwing a punch. I hope that they are both suspended for next week at Alabama.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:31 PM ^
They'll miss the first half at a minimum.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:36 PM ^
See FA's post above, out for the first half of the Iron Bowl.
Edit: Redundant, sorry.
November 13th, 2010 at 8:14 PM ^
Yeah, he beat me to it.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:31 PM ^
Nick Fairley is not a guy I would want on my team.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
Versus can keep showing that front row of Cal chicks all night as far as I'm concerned...
November 13th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
Cal home uni's among the worst out there these days. They are trying to be cool but it just doesn't work for them.
First series Oregon has 4th and 3 from their own 35. Go for it and make it without problem. No fear. Go for it again on 4th and 2 in own territory and don't make it. Amazing
November 13th, 2010 at 7:48 PM ^
Up 36-18 at half. Hardaway leading scorer still, followed by Morris with 10.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:51 PM ^
Anyone else super impressed by the job Dan Mullen and Diaz have done at Miss St? It's early in the game, but they have been rock solid all year.
November 13th, 2010 at 8:05 PM ^
I would take a Zoltan kick to the clockweights to get Manny Diaz at Michigan.
November 13th, 2010 at 7:57 PM ^
Cal leads Oregon 7-0 and is driving.
November 13th, 2010 at 8:03 PM ^
Touchdown Threet on the keeper against Stanford. 7-7
November 13th, 2010 at 8:33 PM ^
Announcers are insinuating that Cal is faking cramps to slow Oregon's offense down. The guy is noticeably sweating through his shirt.
And people say the SEC puts slants on things.
November 13th, 2010 at 8:36 PM ^
Yeah, those jerseys show sweat like woah. They should check out a new design or material that doesn't show the sweat so much. I would never want my opponents to see that, it would give them a confidence boost.
