Is anyone excited to see Mike Hart play this weekend?

Is anyone excited to see Mike Hart play this weekend?  I know the game is even less important than a pre-season game, but that means he should get a lot of reps. And since he has something to prove he should be giving it his all, even if he won’t be running against a starting NFL defensive line-up.  I can honestly say I’ve never watched a Hall of Fame Game. How shitty are they?

The first drive is usually by the starters. After that the backups take over. It's kinda sad, really. Teams play with a full roster ( 83 ) and 30 of them will be cut so it's like a fight out there as to who makes the team.

I cannot wait to see Hart out there. I don't care if he's with the third string offense facing a third string defense. I want him to prove everyone out there wrong (especially all those who think Ray Rice is going to have a better career than him). If they ever sell it, I will buy a Colts Mike Hart jersey in an instance.

is a pretty good time - I love the second half because it is mostly guys who are playing their guts out trying to earn a roster spot. In this preseason games you often see a lot of big time hits.

I will be curious to see how he reacts to the greater speed of the game at the NFL level. Hart was never blessed with breakaway speed, but his ability to block and read the defense should give him a shot to be an adequate reserve in the NFL. Anything beyond that would be a surprise to me given his lack of explosiveness. Given that he will be playing with Manning, Harrison, Wayne and Clark he might have a little more daylight than a player of his ilk might. I wish him nothing but the best.

He's doing the same moves and blocks at this level...I was worried he wouldn't be strong enough. Here's to hoping Addai and Rhodes see the IR this year.

He had a net 81 yards on a total of 7 carries/receptions. Marcus Mason for the Redskins was the only one with more yards and he had 109 on 20 total carries/receptions.

I think they took him out because there was a broken play he was involved in. It could have been the QB's fault...but the QB kept on playing and Hart didn't...so I'm thinking it may have been Hart's fault. Also he was in on a sack. He may not have been assigned to protect the weak side on that one...hopefully. Otherwise...man I got goosebumps watching him play. I'm a life long Skins fan but I cheer for any Michigan alum in the NFL, especially someone like Hart.

I'm a huge Hart fan, but I'm not sure how much of his yardage was his skill and how much was his blocking. It seemed on his big runs he had some pretty good blocks and big holes to run through. I didn't see much of his shedding blocks the way he did at Michigan. I know it is harder in the NFL, but that was part of what made up for his lack of break away speed.
