Yes, I know they will probably lose, but a man can be optimistic can't he?

Man, David Harris is just dominate. Here's hoping Kenny Demons can be 60 percent of D. Harris I'd be thrilled. He pretty much stopped that last Lions series by himself. Love seeing the Michigan boys showing up.

I hold absolutely no ill will toward Drew Stanton (even though he played for MSU), but I am absolutely terrified any time he steps onto the field during an actual game.

This drive marks the potential turning point for the Detroit Lions. I'm still in the old mindset, so I'm assuming we're gonna lose, let's see if this team can turn me into a believer.

Can we stop with the Sanchez love, America?  He threw a bunch of dump-offs that his receivers turned into decent gains or were able to get out of bounds.  That LT play was all him; Sanchez actually left him with nowhere to go.  I know he just wins, but he's really not a particularly good QB.

That was a dogshit playcall on 3rd and 6 out of the 2-minute warning. No wonder the Rams shitcanned Linehan. With a simple run the Jets would have run out of time.

that secretly wants to blow each and every Jet player one at a time?  Sick and tired of the Lions getting the crappy, homer announcers every freakin' game.  Aren't these guys supposed to TRY to be objective?  Epic FAIL for today's Jet-homo.  I don't even know his name because he's a total nobody.

That's just a straight dereliction of duty from the Lions' offensive coordinator. That's where this game was lost. Let's see. We've got a backup QB in the game, the Jets are out of timeouts, and it's 3rd and 6 at the 2 minute warning. Let's throw a pass. Absolutely fucking brilliant. Even John L. Smith thought that was a terrible call. If we run the ball there, the Jets get the ball back with 1:10 on the clock, 1:15 max. Not 1:40 and change.

Not with the point of playing for the win, but that playcall didn't seem to be a guarantee of first down yardage, you know?  Maybe I couldn't see a downfield route due to the pressure on Stanton, but that seemed like an unnecessarily risky playcall for a 4 yard bootleg toss short of the chains.  Relying on a TE to make the catch and run for a first down isn't a "guarantee."

Lions got Sparty Nooooo!!ed today.  God damn.  I like the playcall on 3rd down but Stanton is truly the shittiest quarterback on earth.  IF YOU CAN'T THROW IT JUST EAT IT AND BURN THE TIME.  I propose a ban on all Sparties on the Lions, fuckers are not good football players and even when they are they're doobie-smoking shitheads like Rogers.
