OT: Help Watch Michigan Football on T-Mobile
So, during the Penn State game, I will be at Griffins game courtesy of my future father-in-law. Of course, this is no good. I really do not want to miss this game, so I need help.
I have a MyTouch 3g (Android) on T-Mobile. How can I watch/listen to this game on my phone?

I have sprint and it gives me Sprint mobile TV which has ESPN mobile on it. I know for a fact that it will air on ESPN mobile. I don't know if you can get that through T-Mobile though.

Try downloading a radio app like iheart radio and listen to it. Better than gamecast I guess.

If I am not mistaken, you can download the AOL Radio app on the android market. From there you can choose the Detroit radio stations and pick Oldies 104.3. You will get the audio stream with Frank Beckmann and Jim Brandstatter. Hope that helps.

you're screwed. any phone that can stream would be dead by the first half because of the pure battery drain video is currently. your best bet would be setting up text updates via ESPN for scoring drives, quarters, halftime, everything.
also: put your foot down early and say that's not how things are done in your house. when your father in law tries to protest, tell him you don't hit his daughter, always respect her, help with the chores and cook but, in your household, NOBODY comes between you and a game because yours is a God fearing household. continue straw man arguments until tickets are scalped or torn up.

Use mapquest to find local tavern. When that fails to work on T-Mobile then call a friend to give you directions to local tavern. When that fails on T-Mobile then use it to barder with local whino to be your guide to local tavern.
I am not a fan of T-Mobile as you can see.

Good luck. I can barely make phone calls on my T-Mobile phone. If it wasn't so cheap (and I didn't have to have four separate phone lines), I'd have dumped them for Verizon like forever ago.

Maybe locate someone who has a Slingbox and is willing to let you point at it for the day? I've never tried it, but I've heard it's a pretty good viewing experience. As noted, you may also want to bring an extra battery for your phone.

Your best bet is a Slingbox, as Rash said. If that doesn't work, there are free Android apps for both ustream.tv and justin.tv, both of which occasionally have people streaming the game (channelsurfing.net can help you find a stream, but it probably won't work on your phone).
But the other commenters are right that this will destroy your battery - you'll probably get 30 minutes of viewing, tops. I think the suggestion to go with a radio stream and the ESPN ScoreCenter app is probably the least hassle and most reliable option.

Has the same issue for the MSU game. I actually have the same phone (which is a piece of crap) and it wasn't that hard to figure out, but like was posted above your battery will get eaten up quickly and you'll need a strong 3G signal. You should at least get to watch a half or three quarters.
The first thing you need is Skyfire, which is a browser that allows flash to work on your phone. It's free and in the android market. Then you just find a justin.tv link for the game which is usually available somewhere on this forum. You just go the link on the skyfire browser and i think its pretty self-explanatory from there.
I got a great signal for most of the game, except it would ocassioanlly freeze and I would have to reload it. But I was in downtown Chicago so the signal was probably stronger than most place.
