My eye is on BTN to see if MSU can keep it up or not.

I don't know how I feel about the MSU/Illinois game. If MSU wins, they continue their streak and look like a legit team, but they are State so rooting for them makes me sick. If Illinois loses, their momentum from the Penn St. game and perhaps their season will unravel, but watching MSU stumble is always fun.

That play action pass for MSU is just not working for them. Cousins had the same issue last week, and already has the Illinois defense in his face.

i dont think they are as bad as people think.  I know they Penn State has no offense, but ot put up 33 points on their D is pretty impressive.  Hopefully they beat MSU and shut up all of sparty nation.

I think we're gonna know allot about the B10 after today. Illinois gave Ohio State a tough time. If they beat MSU I have to think they are a legit squad despite what their record indicates. Same goes for us if we manage to beat Iowa. The night game (Ohio State v Wiscy) promises to be a good one as well. Our conference is brutal this time of year...

I understand establish the run, blah, blah, blah.  But the 3rd and longs....don't seem to be problem so far.

EDIT: Would've been nice to have had a few PI/D Holding calls last week.

Somebody mentioned above that MSU looked flat. I dont know so much about that, its hard to judge that so early. But, the crowd sure is flat.

Although that penalty sequence shows Sparty isnt nearly in tight form right now

And keep it interesting at the end, and with Texas-Nebraska at 3:30, I think this is the week the Fan Vision thing pays big dividends.

Scheelhaase is very poised for a freshman.  He's going to be a good one - as long as Zook doesn't find a way to screw him up.

EDIT: And then he throws to Tacopants and gets picked off.

Well look at Sparty. Wow.  That was a worse INT than any of Denard's.

EDIT: Obvs not worse in terms of where it happened on the field but way worse in terms of a poor throw
