Kiffin is actually looking pretty good after that first drive.
October 9th, 2010 at 8:25 PM ^
Boise scores and goes for 2. If you're want to be looked at like a big time program, act like one and don't go for 2 against a MAC school at home.
October 9th, 2010 at 8:31 PM ^
these are actually solid teams, almost reminds me of this matchup 10ish years ago.
Also: TD stanford, 7-7. No D in this game so far.
October 9th, 2010 at 8:57 PM ^
Multiple tipped pass completions? Sack-strip in Florida's own end zone turning into a positive run and a face mask penalty? QB run touchdown on a play where whoever was supposed to come out for a play-action pass forgot? Supposed Heisman candidate muffs a punt? Oh, yes, this is definitely a Les Miles gameplan...
October 9th, 2010 at 9:09 PM ^
is bringing the wood. That D looks pretty good.
Stanford too the 14-7 lead too, that game is starting to settle down.
October 9th, 2010 at 9:12 PM ^
Northwestern looking a little flat tonight
October 9th, 2010 at 9:26 PM ^
Fuck football - I'm watching hockey! It's back baby!!!!
Wings are up 1-0 over the Hawks in Chicago. Val Filppula with the goal, deflecting a shot by Franzen.

I think the thread title is broad enough to encompass any thoughts you have on hockey games tonight.

Lol time for a lesson in Les Miles clock management - LSU ball with 3.30 left in the game.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:49 PM ^
for people who haven't had a chance to witness firsthand how The Hat mismanages late game time...
October 9th, 2010 at 10:51 PM ^
how do you let 20 sec just burn off when you're going to run a fake anyway. Jeebus Les.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:50 PM ^
Lesticles just iced his own kicker. Oh wait, that was a trick play.
Never change, Les.
Never change.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:51 PM ^
Les is freaking crazy!
October 9th, 2010 at 10:51 PM ^
LSU is never boring because of Les
October 9th, 2010 at 10:51 PM ^
Unreal - I sure can't tell if that was a lateral or not. If LSU pulls this one out... wow, just wow.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:52 PM ^
Say what you will about Les Miles but he has allot of balls...
October 9th, 2010 at 10:54 PM ^
That's an awfully gutsy call considering that they'll probably end up having to kick a FG anyways.
I don't understand why they ran the ball three plays in a row and essentially eliminated any chance they had of scoring a TD and then took a timeout just to be sure of that.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:55 PM ^
Looks like I posted too soon. I fully expect some runs down here with no timeouts and 15 seconds left.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:55 PM ^
Madness! Madness!
October 9th, 2010 at 10:55 PM ^
This is gonna be a classic. 15 seconds to go...
October 9th, 2010 at 10:56 PM ^
wow Les - simply insane.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:57 PM ^
terrence tolliver is such a beast. damn.
at least florida and alabama have both lost as well - it makes the pain hurt a bit less.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:57 PM ^
TD LSU. Wow, Les has balls of steel. Or is it a bobble? Oh my...
October 9th, 2010 at 10:57 PM ^
Another unbelievable ending for the mad hatter. It's amazing that he ends up on the good side of these endings more often than not.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:07 PM ^
Just one week after luring two extra UT players onto the field with the staged Chinese fire drill, he ices the Florida defense by having his holder throw the ball on a perfect lateral line on the successful fake FG attempt. Immediately after Florida is led to believe they have won during the five minute fake FG review, LSU burns Fla down the middle to the three with 15 seconds left.
Genius. Pure Genius.
October 9th, 2010 at 10:59 PM ^
Being a LSU fan would be rough on the heart.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:00 PM ^
Gives Miles credit - he calls whatever play that pops in his head. That said, everyone should have seen that fake coming - this is the mad hatter by the way. A gutsy call, but these crazy plays are going to bite him in the butt at some point.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:02 PM ^
Another frenetic, cokehead, riverboat gambler type ending...It's crazy! I do love seeing Urban Meyer go down...
October 9th, 2010 at 11:00 PM ^
Miles is 41-4 in night games? Does LSU play all its home games at night?
October 9th, 2010 at 11:04 PM ^
yeah, almost of all of them. lsu at night is one of the toughest environments in college football.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:25 PM ^
yeah wings!!! 3-2, raining on the blackhawks banner parade.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
but I'll take it.
Osgood wins #397.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
Who has a worse defense
USC
Michigan
October 9th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
I'm sitting here watching that with my housemate, and we're both looking at each other like "what the hell was USC doing on that last drive". Literally just give them yards to get into FG range.
October 9th, 2010 at 11:46 PM ^
Harbaugh gets it done vs USC...Nice to see Meyer and Kiffin go down in the same night...
October 9th, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
3-1 against USC. Pretty solid. And Lane Kiffin is an idiot. So in the coming years Stanford can make that record even better.
October 10th, 2010 at 12:22 AM ^
A week after not a single Big Ten road team covered the spread, 4 out of 5 covered today (with three road dog outright wins). Swell timing for us...
October 10th, 2010 at 12:25 AM ^
Knowing that Vegas usually makes money, so their lines are decent, I would expect road teams covering to be about 50/50 by the end of the year. Also, that 5 point line was way too much, everyone was saying that before the game.
October 10th, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
About 22 points too big.
