Colin Cowherd is coward

Submitted by Hoken's Heroes on

Just heard him "not take a stand" on the UM/MSU game. Why? Because he texts RichRod and likes him and thinks he has been given a bad rap (which is true) but also because his wife is a MSU grad. He does believe that MSU is the better team but he likes Michigan.

For someone who loves taking a stand, he surely dodge this simple call like a god damn coward.

But what do you expect from a guy who steals from this blog and won't own up about it.

Actually, didn't he "steal" from M-Zone and not MGoBlog?  Also, I've pretty much seen a 50-50 split in MSM predictions, with most calling it a close (ie, within a TD) game.  Also also, who cares?

So everyone complains about people reporting every MSM person's prediction, and when one does not provide said prediction we FREAK OUT?

I don't get it.

He's a piece of shit.  Right now he's saying that RR has been given a bad rap, but 2 months ago he had Rosenberg on his show and was telling him what a great job he did reporting the whole overpracticing thing.  Cowherd says whatever he thinks is gonna make him sound smart at the time, and because his employer is ESPN he doesn't have to worry about things like accountability.

I know it's been said a thousand times on this blog, but I'm not sick of saying yet so here's 1,001:  Fuck Cowherd.

So, let me get this straight. If someone predicts a blowout, they are biased. If they think its too close to call, they are a coward. The only thing left is to call a close game one way or another, which everyone agrees is a worthless pick because no one wants to make a strong pick one way or another. I love it!

Wait, I was sure that Colin recently got divorced -- thus shouldn't he be rooting against MSU?

I remember that on his show about 6 months ago that he was pointing out that you don't always get what you want in life, and then said something about how he doesn't get to spend as much time with his kids as he wants to because of his recent divorce.

EDIT: A quick google revealed lots of speculation, but not a ton of reputable sources.  I did find a site that said: "ESPN Radio talk show host Colin Cowherd announced on the air Thursday that he and his wife of 11 years, Kim, are getting a divorce. They have two children, a 7-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. Cowherd indicated the separation is amicable."
