And it doesn't mean jack squat. Hart came away from Auburn announcing a 9/10 visit, and then summarily dropped them. He's choosing between M and Alabama today, but is planning to attend the Wisconsin game later this season. He says, "High on Bama, Roll Tide" but regularly appears in M gear.

Dee Hart is an awesome conundrum.

He links to the Orlando Sentinel. This is old news. Everyone else with an opinion is saying he is Blue. I'll still trust Sam Webb's gut feel over this.

The Sentinel is a worthless piece of crap paper, just like the Free Press.  If Dee Hart chooses Michigan, I say we institute a ban on the Sentinel just like we've done with the Freep or at least require all posts referencing it be prefaced by the fact that the Sentinel is involved in the post.

In that second Sentinel article, they at least did all their homework and even said that Dee likes to joke around and many recruiting experts still expect Dee to pick UM. Honestly, the Sentinel did a hell of a job in that piece. They covered all their bases.

Relax. Tom has said many times that he spoke to Dee off the record a few times this week and will talk about after the announcement. He didn't seem to concerned with all of the recent Bama talk. We will all know in less than 12 hours.

I didn't know we were also recruiting the worse of the two Dee Harts. That's just crazy...

Really?!

EDIT: I see you've edited your title, now this makes little sense. I will now go back to pulling my hair out in anticipation of what Dee decides. I can't wait for the Dee-cision. I sure hopes he takes his talents to Ann Arbor.

you can tell in the comment he is being sly. he wants everyone to think he is picking their particular school. Makes for a much more anticipated and fun night tonight when he announces.

With all the threads and noise this week, we will know tonight.  I always prepare for the worst, but I am sure I wouldn't care what MR. SEC has to say on this.

Relax.  Yes, we all want Dee to go Blue.  Our option offense would be unstoppable with Dee and Denard back there.  Just think of the dreads.  He is a huge recruit at a high profile position.  Adding him could lead to some good recruiting momentum (which I think is already building).

But, he is just 1 guy.  If we don't get him, there will be others.  They may not be as good or have as nice dreads, but there will be other RBs that RR and his staff will unearth.  I am not going to lose sleep one wat or the other over the fanciful whims of a 17 year old.

That said, I think Dee will go Blue and it will make me happy.

...we're in pretty good shape at the RB position now. We're serviceable, if not outstanding. Dee could help make our RB position outstanding, but he's still only one player.

If we don't get him, it will open the door to other capable backs who may be considering us.

I think Dee Hart is more symbolic than anything.  I think the value of this committment (other than adding his talent) will be the fact that his recruitment has been a fairly high-profile one and him choosing Michigan over Alabama might raise several eyes, especially in Florida.  You can see this in the fact that several others from Dr. Phillips are also making the trip up to Ann Arbor.

Can't we just wait for press conferences instead of begging for Facebook stalking?  I mean, is it really that much more important to know this information at 10:20 a.m. instead of 10:00 p.m.  He wouldn't even play a down until almost a year from now, if that.

Chill.
