You are quick my friend. Congratulation Denard!

Jesus man. I got the text and clicked browser and posted. No pass go.

Yawn... another week, another award.

because my fake i.ds name is Kyle
October 7th, 2010 at 8:15 PM ^
Isn't he is the first player to win it 3 times in a year? I seem to remember saying that only 1 player did it twice and Denard did it in back to back games.

...Graham Harrell won it 4 times in 2008.
And before we anoint Denard with the Heisman or think there is any correlation whatsover, 2008's Heisman winner... Sam Bradford. How many AT&T player of the week awards did he win? 0.

I thought that someone else had done it 3 times? Therefore he has now tied that? I could also be wrong, but this is what I remember reading.

I think you're thinking of the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week recognition.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:23 PM ^
Ah that I am, +1 to you sir.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:26 PM ^
I made a mistake though. I think a few people have won it twice but he's the only one to win it in consecutive weeks.

not DRob fast but still that was fast.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:34 PM ^
I can now proudly boast that I partially(I know Drob did the hard part) had a hand in Denard winning something, yey...pat on the back.

Denard has won the Capital One Cup Impact Performance of the Week for the second time this season (won in Week 2 for game against ND).

Is it sad (ed. or awesome) that at this point it's par for the course? It's great news, but I feel like this is going to be an almost-weekly post on the board.
October 8th, 2010 at 12:12 AM ^
I propose a summary post at the end of the season that tabulates all awards and honors that Denard has won by then. I am already starting to lose track.
October 8th, 2010 at 12:19 AM ^
I would also go for a weekly recurring post, because if we wait until the end of the season, it may hit the word limit (although I don't think there is one)
October 8th, 2010 at 12:55 AM ^
We'll probably need a brillant Mathematician in the order of John Forbes Nash or Gauss to calculate the tabulations because by the time the season's over the list could stretch miles!

Indiana game this past week and my uncle Ron who comes over once and while because he's a huge Huskers and college football fan took a look at Robinson's 72 yard run and he said "Damn that boy can run! He's going to give them Buckeyes in Columbus a tough a game." I think he's right!
October 8th, 2010 at 12:28 AM ^
I like you, Husker. And your Uncle Ron. He knows his stuff.

I will not get tired of this if it appears again next week because it most likely means we beat the Spartans! Let the wins and AT&T Player of the Week Honors roll!
