Official Reminder - Heisman Vote

Submitted by Captain on

Once again, Nissan is sponsoring this year's heisman and, by contract, receives one official heisman vote.  Nissan, in turn, is opening its vote to the public, and whichever player receives the most votes will earn Nissan's official heisman vote.  It's a daily vote, so some people (like me) require a reminder from time to time.

A while back someone plugged the vote for Denard, and a user who did the same on the second day of the vote got flamed.  This may have had a chilling effect on subsequent efforts to remind others to vote, so we get a link to every article written by any sports writer with a pen about Denard's heisman chances instead of the occasional reminder to vote for something that can actually influence the outcome in some small way.

So I'll subject myself to negs this morning if it means some modest improvement in Denard's chances to win the heisman.  Vote away, it takes eleven seconds.*

*(You do need to play the game where they give you two vaguely legible words that include hieroglyphics not found on most computers and guess what the string of symbols is supposed to represent in order to prove you are a real person, but that's the only reason it takes eleven seconds instead of two).

Yeah, thanks for sharing this link.  Denard is obviously leading pretty much all other voting sources (sportsnation, etc.), but I don't think a lot of people know they can go to this site and vote yet.  +1 for you.

Thanks for posting, I had forgotten about this.  I believe it tracks your vote by IP, so you can probably vote from different computers each day.  I'll vote daily from work and home.
