IU Drinking Game

Submitted by MGoBender on

Hey everyone, I'm putting together a drinking game for the game.  Here's some ideas I have right now.  I ideally want 1-2 events in each category.  It has to be short enough to remember without constantly looking at the sheet....

1 Drink

Announcer says "Shoelace"

Michigan gives up a 3rd and long (7yd+)

2 Drinks

Michigan goes for it on fourth down

Denard breaks off a 20yd+ run

5 Drinks

Our defense gets a 3-and-out

Indiana Basketball is mentioned

Finish your drink!

We see Bill Lynch throw his gum (Then shotgun a beer if it's not a replay)

Denard breaks 300, 400, or 500 total yards

Other ideas?

This one is deadly considering both M and IU offensive schemes, but it's been a fun one for super bowl drinking games I've been involved in in the past.

Shotgun a beer for every TD scored out of a shotgun formation.

A drink for each of the 6 picks Michigan will have today.  Seriously though, any turnover = drink.  If M turns it over, full drink?  Anytime we don't contain, that's another drink.

Drink until you pass out if anything like this happens:

Tried doing the 20+ yard run for denard and you have to chug a beer against UMASS, but we sucked that game so it only happened once.

I am not old enough to drink (only 18) but based on those rules anyone who has been playing along must be blackout drunk by now because basically everything there has happened multiple times. Except Denard for 400 and 500 and Michigan going for it on fourth. (the first two are going to happen shortly)
