Updated Michigan All Time Record Book

I have to say, I love the spread and shred. Rodriguez and Magee are going to have guys breaking records every year.

I can't believe how many entries there are for Robinson already. I am a little confused why Robinson isn't mentioned in the Average Gain per Rush (min 5 carries) after the BGSU game... maybe that is only for RBs?

Can't wait to see the next record go down. Maybe another Most Yards Gained record for D.Rob?

It was fun to look through all of the old records. Amazing the Denard is only 630 yards away from making the list of most yards gain through an entire season and we are only through 4 games. This offense is exciting to watch and can't wait to be in AA next weekend for the UM/MSU game!

Box score has him with 5 carries for 129 yards for an average of 25.8 yards, so this seems like an oversight--he should be #1 in that category.

Note also that Steve Smith (QB from the early 80s) appears in the "Season (Min. 75 Carries)" category, so the average gain per rush records are not limited to running backs.

Projections for Denard's total rushing yards for three scenarios:

Avgs 50 yds/game for next 8 games, Total = 1088 yds

Avgs 75 yds/game for next 8 games, Total = 1288 yds

Avgs 100 yds/game for next 8 games, Total = 1488 yds

Since the sledding will be tougher in the Big Ten and teams will scheme to stop his long runs the second scenario is probably most likely. Also I expect to see more playing time for Tate and Devin if they are fortunate enough to get big leads in a few games.

Notre Dame's defense has (in terms of recruiting rankings) more talent than any Big Ten defense other than OSU and PSU.  Denard rushed for 258 on them.  The great ones come to play in the biggest games.

I could see Denard gaining 100+ yards in every game.  It just takes one well-blocked play for him to be gone.

W/L clearly the only one that matters, but I would like to see DROB throw a pass to himself and score a touchdown. That way he gets the throwing and receiving yards and a TD for both as well.
