Indiana Game Seating
I didn't get tickets through the Michigan Ticket Office, and the best I could find at the time happens to be in section 31 row 25. 1)Is the visitor's section for Memorial Stadium on the opposite side of the Michigan bench? 2)Do you think there will be a lot of Michigan fans on both sides of the stadium? 3)Where is everyone sitting?

Visitor's sideline. Section 29. Can't remember row - something in the 50's.

Im guessing that it will be split 40%-60% in favor of IU fans at the game so i guess it doesnt matter where the UM section is.

The Indiana away game expereince is very similar to going Northwestern...except you have nowhere to go after the game.

pretty close to where I sat in 2006. You'll be among plenty of friends. The main visitor section was across the field from where you are.

Same here. I just bought 7 tickets for the IU student section today. Luckily it's general admission. Who's up for forming an impromptu Michigan student section within their student section on Saturday?

I actually bought tickets through MGoblue.com yesterday, but it didn't tell me what section/row/seats I was getting. Does anybody know what's up with that? Is it just going to be General Admission in the Michigan section?

I bought 3 today and all it said was "PL1" I think. I was going to purchase through the IU website, where I could see what the seats were, but as I'm taking my 77 year old dad and my 9 year old son, I wanted to try to minimize any extreme hazing by rabid (do they exist?) IU fans. So I'm hoping we'll have a bit of maize and blue around us.
Plus, I don't want my father to pick up any bad habits from Hoosiers - he's really impressionable.
Oh, so's my son.

Every game I have been to at Indiana has been around 50/50 so you should be fine

I suggest student section tickets. From what I hear if you don't want to cause trouble it's not hard to get into other sections. You can also order the student tickets over the phone. Full value is $50 for normal tickets I hear.....doesn't seem worth it.

the official vistors sections are 1 & 2, 101 & 102. But it looks like we'll have fans all over the stadium ! Hopefully enough for some cross - field Go Blue chants !!! That would be awesome ... Chris Farley style !
Go Blue !

For those UM fans looking to get a good bite to eat in Bloomington after the game, I suggest, the Trojan Horse. The address is 100 E. Kirkwood Ave. My boss has season tickets to IU, and both his son goes to IU as well, so I have been down to see the Hoosiers on several occasions.
For all that is said negative about Bloomington, it is a good atmosphere around the stadium prior to the game. It is nothing like The Big House, or Ohio Stadium, but they hold their own. Enjoy the road trip, and Go Blue!
