Dog Names for Michigan fan

Submitted by gobluehtown on

I have one dog named Maizey, not too original but I was lazy. For my next dog I was debating a couple names that would be better than simple Maize or Blue. I was thinking Bo, but that is used for dogs too much as it is.

This is what I came up with

Boy Dog:

Harmon

Howard

Woodson

Yost

Brady... I think overused as well but the old lady likes that one

Ford

Zoltan

Barwis

Girl Dog:

Schemmy

Hailiegh Victoria

Any thoughts?

Sparty: For the one poor little guy you can't can't train to stop running into things, peeing on the carpet, pooping behind the couch and biting the mailman.

Victor and Valiant both work for male dogs.  My Siberian Husky was Viktor in homage to Michigan and his Russian lineage.  Bennie and Biff were the names of our live Wolverines so those are options.

Just got a new Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix puppy that we named Bo.  This was a compromise name that worked for myself and my wife who is a Nebraska grad.  Of course our other older dog is named Husker.

No lie, a friend of mine had a black lab he named "biakabarktuka". He tried and tried to get that damn dog to answer to it, but the only thing it did do was get his dog, neighbors and friends to look at him like he was a tard. Eventually he (and the dog, for that matter) settled for just "Tuka".

Oddly enough, that dog died last year, a week and a half after the tO$U game.

My x-girlfriend's brother was a pitcher for Penn State and named his first daughter Nittany K.  I mean is it just mean or that absolutely ridiculous.  I mean not the normal girl name as in Kay, but the letter K for strikeout.  Dont get me wrong, I love Michigan football and golf, but I am not going to name my son Maize Fore.  Sorry just had to vent that, but for a dog anything goes.
