Shawn Crable signed by Pats

Submitted by K2 on

New England has signed Crable to the 53 man roster to replace Kevin Faulk. Hopefully he can live up to his potential this time, he seems to have all the physical tools the Pats look for in an OLB but between injuries and mental lapses it hasn't panned out yet.

EDIT: no longer semi OT

Stevie Brown was signed again by the Raiders... more special teams action this week, he's finding his place on the team pretty quickly for a 7th rounder, go Stevie!

Additionally, your little mistake in spelling in the title made me imagine Bill Belichick serenading Shawn Crable, so thank you for that laugh.

he was put on the practice squad a few days ago.  After two years of injury and then not being ready to play again this year, they had to make room for people who could get on the field and cut him.  Calling him in for the practice squad a couple of weeks ago seemed to indicate he was healthier and that they still believed in him enough to give him another look.  Hope this time it takes and he can stay healthy.
