PSU makes UM Game (Unofficial) White Out
Just learned from a friend that the PSU students are making the Michigan game an unofficial "White Out". I replied it won't matter because Denard is rushing for at least 150 and passing for 250+. I'll probably get negged because this isn't earth shattering information, but I thought I'd pass it along.

The real ones are determined before hand and are probably printed on the ticket, Unofficial ones are by word of mouth.

Seems like PSU needs some extra motivation for that night game now, because before the season this was not supposed to be a white out game. They deemed it unwarrantable for a stupid white out. Get ready to be Denarded on a Saturday night bitches!

A quick glance at the schedule and it becomes clear there isn't a team worthy of earning the distinction of the "White House" opponent. Before Rich Rodriguez took over the Michigan program, it would have been an easy choice to promote a "White House" for the night game against the Wolverines on Oct. 30. But with the Wolverines struggling mightily (8-16 since 2008), Penn State would really be stretching the boundaries of what should be considered a "White House" game.

There is a difference between "White House" and "White Out," but I wonder if this indicates some regret with respect to PSU's pre-season planning.

between a "white house" and "white out," to my understanding, is that a white house is the whole stadium, planned before the season, while a white out is just the student section.

I watched that PSU game today.. They should have good reason to make our game a white out or w/e the hell they call it... PSU's offense is fuckin horrible.. Royster actually ran for over 150 yards and they could still only manage 1 TD the whole game and 5 FGs? get real.. after they get shit on by iowa next wk they will wake up.

Last time my buddy invited me up to his house to watch PSU vs Michigan. It was me and my son surrounded by PSU fans. By the end of the game nobody was talking but us. It was a thing of beauty.

piped in music the entire game, weird songs also, a mixture of 60's, 70's music with newer tunes. White out or not, will be a tough game. Their d line always presents problem, but I like the way our o line looks. Hopefully we continue to develop in the coming weeks.
