U-M Furry Mascot on HBO Real Sports?

This is my first forum post. Long time reader, but I am a noob to the Mgoboard. I didn't see anything on the board about this so here goes:

Last night on HBO's Real Sports there was a segment on college and professional mascots. There was a short clip featuring a "mascot camp" when what looked to be a U-M mascot walked across the screen. This is the first I'd ever seen anything like this - it had a maize wing design in its blue hair. I've embedded the link below, the mascot walks across the screen at the 0:28 mark. Am I crazy or is this something in the works for the future? Has anyone seen this mascot at any games?

Credit where credit's due... that's a pretty realistic looking mascot. If we had one, it would probably look something like that. Let's thank Jah that we don't.

I know some people get bent out of shape about MSU's fake Wolverine, but I don't - if nothing else, this should keep the Michigan AD from ever developing an actual mascot.

As many have said, that was MSU's fake Wolverine mascot. They brought it to camp in 2004 the last time I was at the same camp as Sparty, and had it act like a jerk all the time.

It would have been acceptable if they were just using it to give more people a chance to practice/learn with the big suit on, but to have it act lazy and mean in the skits they put on was a bit ridiculous. Camp is supposed to be big on learning and development, low on animosity, but I guess MSU didn't get the memo.

Kansas City Chiefs do the same thing ... I went to a Lions game at Arrowhead back in '98 (?) and the Chiefs mascot, "KC Wolf" ran over a bogus Lions mascot with a four-wheeler. The crowd went bonkers.

Considering the trend of mascot on mascot violence... I'd be all for a Wolverine mascott if Barwis was in the suit.

And may the best sparticus win. Norfolk's spartan logo/helment/uni's kick the spit out of Msu's so that is worth a look on the web as well. This video makes me want to go back to school in this conference.
