OT: Iowa's Jewel Hampton out for the year...again.
Looks like Jewel Hampton is out for the season again, after missing last year with a knee injury.

I thought the gods only hated us...

That sucks for the Hawkeyes. They are pretty slim at RB now... like our CB's almost. Anyways, this was also in the links... http://mgoblog.com/links/iowas-hampton-has-torn-acl-out-season

Also Wisconsin LB Borland is out for the year.

Any Wisky injury is the direct result of the student section chanting shoot 'em like a horse anytime an opposing player goes down.

to put all that hard work and positivity into rehab, only to have it all undone in the blink of an eye. I hope he makes it back, and doesn't suffer so much as a sprain for the rest of his career, he's done his time.

Now he gets to go through the exact same rehab on the opposite leg, amazing.
Edit: Amazing isn't the right word... tragic, perhaps

I dont wish for injuries because of how the football gods punish those who do. But when it is an opposing teams players, I also dont complain about them.

that's awful news. As much as I want Michigan to win, and this injury obviously helps that, nobody wants to see players injured. Good luck in your recovery, kid. Hope you can someone manage an injury-free year in the future!!
CURSE YOU IOWA RUNNING BACK HATING GOD!

I'd say it was the Angry Could Be/ Should Be/ Is/ or Could Have Been Michigan Corch Hating God.
For real, Miles since the MNC, Ferentz like always, Ron English, Lloyd '05-'07, RR '08-?

You got to feel for the guy. He tore the ACL on the opposite knee that was injured last year. Really to bad to Hampton and a really big blow for the Hawkeyes.

Obviously I feel bad for the kid and wish him a speedy recovery. It seems to me that all the people picking Iowa to slap us around on October 16th may be mistaken... the college football season is a war of attrition that Iowa is losing right now. I'll be at the game for homecoming. Go Blue!

This is not OT. Come on, people.

...well, hopefully he can tough it out one more time.

Does this mean the Michigan running back hating God has moved on to Iowa. If so, then *schwing*!
