Hart Loves Auburn Visit
There's an article on Rivals that goes over Hart's visit to Auburn. Apparently he absolutely loved it and says it was a 9 out of 10. The only thing that could've made it a ten, according to him, is if he would've committed. Some things he cited as being so great is the joy and enthusiasm of the fans, the players and how those are representative of SEC football. He's now done taking visits and says his decision could come at any time...

I've yet to see a recruit say he hated a visit.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:06 PM ^
When they don't like a visit you typically get a "It was OK" or "I had a good time", not "It was a 9 out of 10". Unless he has some weird reverse scale. Wait...he could have some reverse scale....right??? right guys???
September 19th, 2010 at 7:09 PM ^
Maybe, but in this case everyone knows he likes Auburn a lot, they are in his top 2.
September 19th, 2010 at 8:45 PM ^
hmmm, negged for stating an actual fact.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:26 PM ^
"It was alright"
He also went on to say his mother didn't like it.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:04 PM ^
That does not sound promising

I gotta say the third is pretty sweet.

Don't you mean first of the four pics?
Seriously though, I agree.
September 20th, 2010 at 9:07 AM ^
......like summa that!
September 19th, 2010 at 5:05 PM ^
he was coming back up for the MSU or Iowa game?
September 19th, 2010 at 5:05 PM ^
Yea why not.....not taking an official to Bama is a slighty good sign...keep in mind that Kris Frost i think was there too...so hope for the best!
September 19th, 2010 at 5:05 PM ^
that he was there for that game, of all games... primetime, Gameday, blah blah. DEE, GET UP HERE!!! YOU WANT ALL THAT DANG EAGLE POOP ALL OVER YOUR HOME FIELD???
September 19th, 2010 at 5:06 PM ^
Come to Michigan, Dee. Our helmets have wings.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:09 PM ^
Hopefully he is just being well-mannered in complimenting his hosts for the weeknd
September 19th, 2010 at 5:10 PM ^
And Dee is a lock. My ex-roomie at UF knows Ricardo Miller(ex-teammate) very well and updates me from time to time. Dee's a Michigan shoo-in as long as RichRod's job is secure.

really sick.
With the ball in his hands, juking linebackers.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:13 PM ^
Coldstone.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:10 PM ^
That sounds pretty bad, especially if he is not going to make it up for MSU or Iowa now. Someone get Ricardo on this asap!
September 19th, 2010 at 5:17 PM ^
He's been to A2 a couple of times. I think maybe more than Auburn. It would be nice if he would come up again and bring some buddies.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:11 PM ^
Our shot at Dee has always been good. However after the way the Auburn game ended, and the fact they have a pretty good dual threat of their own, it's warm weather, and the women are amazing I am not longer feeling very good about our chances of landing him. Hopefully TomVH will give us an update in a few days and re-assures us that Dee is still high on us.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:16 PM ^
You think the women in Alabama are amazing?!? You have some low standards my friend.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:21 PM ^
Fact: Auburn has hot coeds.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:22 PM ^
I guess you've never heard the term "southern belle" before. The women at Auburn are smoking hot. The adults in that state... not so much.
September 19th, 2010 at 6:21 PM ^
I prefer adult women myself.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:19 PM ^
They do have a good dual threat, but they also have Dyer. He's a freshman thats not going anywhere. Unless Dee is worried about how good Shaw looked, I am not too worried about RB depth chart. The distance factor and winning perception worry me the most.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:13 PM ^
Has some work to do. The fact that he cancelled his Bama visit is actually a bad sign I think. Did he cancel any visits after our visit? Status quo was our best outcome, now that has changed... so this was a legit visit.

D Hart... We need you buddy.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:13 PM ^
I don't worry about recruiting things like this until HE says it. Sam Webb as well of course...
September 19th, 2010 at 5:21 PM ^
Can anyone say Brown Noser?
September 19th, 2010 at 5:15 PM ^
Before I panic, will wait to see what Sam's gut feels like, I hope he didnt have beans this weekend.
Edit : Chicago beat me to it.
September 19th, 2010 at 9:33 PM ^
Sam's last two gut feelings Sean Parker and Casey Prather. Parker ended up commiting to Washington and Prather took his basketball skills to Florida.
September 19th, 2010 at 9:47 PM ^
We could really have used Sean Parker.
Still, 3 and 0.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:20 PM ^
He didn't commit. That's the main thing. When the euphoria of that visit wears off, he'll realize that his heart is in Ann Arbor, not at Alabama's little brother.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:24 PM ^
I'm actually surprised at this reaction from Hart. Auburn barely squeeked by in this game. One accurate pass at the end from Clemson instead of that terrible pass and the results would've been decidedly different. Aside from the fact that Auburn had a terrible first half and didn't look very solid in general.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:30 PM ^
I don't think recruits care that much about that quality of play. They just want to take in a good atmosphere. Auburn offered that last night. Good for them. But still, it's Auburn. It's not Michigan.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:42 PM ^
Michigan's tradition might mean something to a kid from the upper midwest, but to somebody who's spent his whole life in SEC country where it's Bama/Auburn/Dawgs/Gators/etc/etc 24/7/365, the opportunity to jump up and touch the M banner may not mean a whole hell of a lot, especially given that most of Dee's high school years have been filled with media accounts of Michigan's troubles on and off the field.
September 19th, 2010 at 5:57 PM ^
You might be surprised how high-profile we are down there. A lot of kids in the South grow up following us. I guarantee there are more Michigan fans in Florida than Auburn fans.
September 19th, 2010 at 6:07 PM ^
A close friend of mine (who's an ND grad himself) went to graduate school for three years at Alabama, and his experience down there was that southern football fans didn't really give a shit about either ND or Michigan, or any northern team for that matter. It was all 'Bama, or Auburn, or some other SEC team.
As for Florida, the number of northern transplants in the Sunshine state might explain the interest in Michigan football, but in the rest of the deep south, I really doubt that's the case, as compared with southern football.
September 19th, 2010 at 6:23 PM ^
But I must say there are quite a few of us Michigan fans down here in Florida. I see at least one decal or license plate a day.
September 19th, 2010 at 8:14 PM ^
I just watched Karate Kid for the first time in years. What a great movie.
