thoughts on the first half

Very very very sloppy play. Our secondary coverage is terrible, I don't know who teaches tackling fundamentals for us but they need to get their shit together. I havent seen tackling this bad in a while. Oh and can you put in Fitz, I am sick of Shaw hopping around like he's on dancing with the stars. Oh yeah and we need to just cut the field goal kickers and go for it on fourth down from now on. Sorry but I just need to vent. I know it's not this bad but geez come on fellas. At least Denard is playing ok.

I think it's funny that in the live blog all of the mods are acting like nothing is wrong with this team.  There is a lot wrong with this defense I'll tell you that much.  Getting blown off the ball time and time again, and falling for the same damn play action bootleg passes shows his inability to make any sort of adjusments.

I'm not even happy we won, today it feels like we lost, sure its a W in the record books, but how our Defense played, how does one get excited about up coming games after that showing?

some sort of let-down after the huge win last week.   But that was just painful to watch.

 

UMASS really put up more points on us than Notre Dame?????

The Big Ten schedule could be just brutal for us.
