Secondary Injury Update
The Free Press is reporting that Mike Williams has a head injury and will miss this Saturday's game, and Marvin Robinson has a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable.

Did we ever find out if that kid was an outright troll or that his sister, (like many of our sisters would), mistook Craig Roh for Jared Van Slyke? He got negbombed into the stone age that night.

This kid came on (at 11pm of course) and said his sister texted him that she saw Craig Roh crying with a shoulder injury at the UHS. He of course took a horrible beating both in print and in points. The number of comments piled high at a Denard-like rate, but the deletion was never in doubt. It looked like the most obvious troll ever, but in the next day or two the news about Van Slyke's shoulder came out so I just wondered if he (or his sister) had things confused.

The kid's attention to detail was impressive. He informed us that he'd gotten the text at 8:59 p.m. from his sister working at UHS - and then when someone pointed out that UHS closed at 4:30, he suddenly "remembered" that his sister had told him that Roh had actually come in at 4:00. And the whole thread went like that. He kept "remembering" things that contradicted what he'd said earlier.
I think he said at one time that his sister knew it was Roh because he was wearing his jersey, so . . . probably no confusion, just trolling.

I actually saw Marvin with his arm in a sling yesterday morning. I didn't want to say anything until the injury report came out though because it could have just been a ding or something like that.

Last year they were also after the school year started. It seems awfully late, but maybe that's some kind of rule. Kovacs made the team and was starting against MSU less than a month later.

Anyone that is injured will get some good time to rest this weekend. Focus on getting better for the bulk of the Big Ten schedule.
