Not surprised at James Rogers' good performance as CB

This guy was a high 4 star safety/RB recruit out of Madison Heights. I have been wondering why RR didn't give him a try on DB postion.

We shouldn't get overly hyped or discouraged by player ratings..  That 2007 Scout list of commits is pretty interesting to see how they actually panned out.

4* : Mike Williams, Austin Panter, Brandon Herron, Toney Clemons, Zion Babb, Steve Watson, Vince Helmuth, James Rogers, JR Hemingway, Martell Webb, Molk, and RVB.

I'd say that gave us 1 stud (Molk), a couple decent guys (RVB, and Webb and Rogers so far this year), a bunch of a overrated guys, one with a penchant for being snakebit, and one with a snake's tongue...

And then Woolfolk was a 3* and Huyge a 2* ...
